Please pray for my return to The LORD. Please pray for my deliverance from The Devil and my enemies; for their schemes to be exposed and fail. Please pray for healing for my backsliding and body. Please pray for my health. Please pray that God helps, protects, delivers, and provides for me through my trials. Please pray for my repentance and faith unto The Lord Jesus Christ and for my restoration unto Him and deliverance from any bondages or strongholds of my enemies.

We join with you in this cry for mercy and restoration and we thank God that you have turned your heart again toward Him in repentance and faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ, for there is hope for every backslider who returns.

The Lord does not cast away those who come to Him with a humble and contrite heart. He says, Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backsliding. Jeremiah 3:22 and also I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely for my anger is turned away from him. Hosea 14:4. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. We rejoice that you are confessing and seeking Him again, and we encourage you to draw near to God daily through His Word, through prayer, and through fellowship with faithful believers, for if we draw near to God, he will draw near to us. James 4:8.

We also stand with you for deliverance and protection from the devil and from every scheme of your enemies. The Scripture tells us to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 and to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. We are told to submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7. No weapon that is formed against you will ultimately prosper when you abide in Christ, and the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4.

We also lift up your body and your health before the Lord, for He is the one who forgives all your sins and who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. Psalm 34:19. We trust Him to provide for you through every trial, for our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and to keep you, for he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1.

We pray together in Jesus name. Father in heaven, we come before You through the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, and we lift up this dear one who longs to return to You. Lord have mercy and grant true repentance and living faith. Wash away all sin by the blood of Jesus and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Heal the backsliding and restore unto fellowship and joy with You as the father restored the prodigal. Deliver from the power of the devil and from every bondage and stronghold, break every chain and let every scheme of the enemy be exposed and come to nothing. Place Your hand of protection around Your child, guard body and mind, bring healing and renewed health and strength, and provide for every need through these trials. Help to stand firm, to resist the devil, to walk in obedience and holiness, and to be kept by Your power unto the end. We ask that You lead into peace and assurance that nothing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast, to keep your eyes on Jesus, to confess the Word over your life daily, and to trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We are thankful you reached out so honestly. Wanting to come back to the Lord after a season of distance is a tender and courageous place to be, and we want to stand with you in that longing for restoration.

We hear how much you are carrying at once, the spiritual struggle, concern for your body and health, and the weight of ongoing trials. It is understandable to want everything to be resolved immediately. In our experience, returning to the Lord is often more like a steady walk than a single dramatic moment. Small faithful steps, staying near Jesus, being honest about sin, and letting others walk with you, allows healing to take root more deeply than trying to fix everything alone at once.

It can help to invite one or two trusted people into this season, such as a pastor or mature believer who can pray with you regularly, listen, and encourage accountability. For the physical needs you mentioned, we also encourage you to keep seeing a trusted medical professional alongside prayer, so your body is cared for while we seek the Lord for strength and healing.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus name. Thank You for Your mercy that welcomes those who turn back. Grant repentance and living faith, break every bondage and guard them from the enemy's schemes, and restore fellowship with You. Provide for daily needs, protect through trials, and bring healing and health according to Your will. Keep their hope anchored in Christ. Amen.

Your prayer has come before the Lord and before His people, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking mercy at the throne of grace. There is hope for the backslider, for the promise still stands, I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely. If there is any soul who now sincerely closes in with God's way of salvation and would gladly find deliverance from every sin, such a one may be assured that he is among those of whom God has spoken this gracious word.

We pray that the Lord will give you not a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and after the manner of fallen nature, washed and brushed yet still unrenewed, but that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. That true repentance gives God glory. It confesses that sin is committed against so holy, so good, so glorious a Being as the infinitely blessed God, it abhors the sin itself, and it looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only. Try your repentance by this test. Does it lead you to love Christ who has pardoned you, to avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for you, and to yield works meet for repentance that last beyond a momentary pang. Repentance lives as long as faith, and sweet sister Repentance is charming company all the way to the gates of pearl.

Remember that faith and repentance are inseparable. The repentance that ejects sin as an evil tenant and the faith which admits Christ to be the sole master of the heart go together. Repentance purges the soul from dead works and faith fills the soul with living works. We are to preach and to seek repentance in the name of Jesus, as His gift, and remission of sins joined with it. Where there is true godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, there is full and free forgiveness through His finished work.

What is the healing of backsliding. It lies in two things, forgiveness of its sin and release from its power, and the Lord adds thereto the taking away of temporal chastisement and the restoration of lost comfort, giving beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves have virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. We pray that you may know this fourfold healing, pardoned, delivered from the dominion of sin, lifted from under chastening, and restored to the joy of His salvation.

For your deliverance, we look to Him alone who brings His people forth. Deliverance from cruel captivity must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. When the Lamb was slain the captor could hold no longer, and He brought them forth also with silver and gold, enriching those He redeemed. We pray that the schemes of the devil and of every enemy may be exposed and fail, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and that the Lord will make your deliverance effectual. He will give you songs of deliverance and keep peace within your borders.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord God, who hast promised to heal the backsliding of thy people, look upon this wandering one who desires to return. Grant repentance unto life, true and practical, that gives thee glory and turns from sin with hatred for it and love for Christ. Grant faith unto the Lord Jesus Christ, to close in with thy way of salvation through Him alone, trusting His blood and righteousness. Forgive all sin, break every bondage and stronghold, and release from the power of sin as well as the guilt of it. Expose the schemes of the devil and of enemies, cause them to fail, and set thy child free indeed. Lay thy healing hand upon the body, restore health as it pleaseth thee, and above all heal the soul. Help, protect, deliver and provide through every trial, for thou art the God who brings forth thy people and dost not share thine honor with another. Restore lost comfort, create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within, and keep this soul by thy free grace to the end. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.

Do not believe that His mercy is gone forever. Continue to seek Him, to confess, to look to Christ, and to walk in the practical paths of obedience which true repentance always loves. The Sun of Righteousness shall yet rise with healing beneath His wings.
