We hear your cry for restoration and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The weight of backsliding is heavy, but the mercy of God is boundless, and His arms are open wide to receive you. We declare over you the promise of Jeremiah 3:22, "Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backsliding." The Lord is calling you back to Himself, not in condemnation, but with love and compassion.
First, we must address the foundation of your return—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for it is with the heart that one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the starting point of your restoration.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for our brother/sister who is seeking You with a repentant heart. Lord, we ask that You break every chain of backsliding and draw them close to You. Heal their heart, mind, and spirit from the wounds that led them astray. We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, deception, and unbelief that has taken hold, and we command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Restore the joy of Your salvation within them, and renew a steadfast spirit within them (Psalm 51:10-12).
We pray for physical healing over their body, Lord. Your Word declares in Exodus 15:26 that You are the Lord who heals us. We speak life and wholeness over every disease, infection, and ailment, commanding them to leave in the authority of Jesus’ name. Strengthen their body, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through every cell and fiber.
Father, we ask that You deliver them from every stronghold and bondage of the enemy. Break the chains of addiction, fear, bitterness, or any sin that has entangled them. Your Word says in John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." We declare freedom over them now, in Jesus’ name. Expose every scheme of the devil and their enemies, Lord, and confound their plans. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your angels encamp around them for protection (Psalm 34:7).
We pray for provision in every area of their life—spiritual, material, and financial. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Meet every need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You in every circumstance.
Lord, we ask for victory over sin, Satan, the flesh, the world, and every enemy. Your Word assures us that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them to resist the devil, and let him flee from them (James 4:7). Renew their mind with Your truth, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Restore them fully to You, Lord, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose and calling.
We stand on the promise of Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten," and we declare that this is a season of restoration for our brother/sister. May they experience the depth of Your love, the power of Your grace, and the victory of Your resurrection. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
