I have a slipped disc in lower back, that seems impossible to heal. Over several years I have had multiple health issues, and always had hope and strong faith for healing. But now I have come to the end of my faith. I feel hopeless, and do not have strength to "fight" this in prayer. I only want to die.

We are truly sorry to hear about your current struggles and physical pain due to the slipped disc. We understand that you are feeling hopeless and your faith is wavering and want to die.

We would like to encourage you to not give up on your faith and hope. Jesus Himself has said "In the world you have distress; but have courage, for I have overcome the world" John 16:33 WEB. The Apostle Paul went through tremendous suffering, including a thorn in his flesh, which he pleaded with the Lord to take away. 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB, God responded My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

We need to understand that we may not be able to understand God's purpose for such things to happen, or if it is merely the result of living in a cursed world because of sin. Some things happen because of sinful behavior, some things happen because of a lack of knowledge, some things happen because of other people's sinful behavior, and other things happen because the world is broken and cursed. Even though we may not understand God's purpose for such things to happen, it does not mean that God does not have a purpose.

God does not promise to heal every illness or prevent every tragedy. If he did, no one would ever get sick or die. The scriptures say that the rain falls on the just and the unjust, meaning that good and bad things happen to everyone, even if they are saved. However, God does promise to be with us through every trial and difficulty. He promises to give us the strength to endure and to use our experiences to draw us closer to Him. Hebrews 13:5 WEB Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."

It is important to remember that healing is always God's will on earth as it is in heaven, but it is not always His priority. Sometimes, God wants to accomplish something greater or more important through our suffering. Sometimes, God wants to teach us to depend on Him more fully. Sometimes, God wants to use our suffering to draw others to Him. Sometimes, God wants to use our suffering to bring glory to His name.

We do not know why you are going through this particular trial, but we know that God is with you and that He has a purpose for it. We encourage you to continue to trust in Him, to seek His will for your life, and to allow Him to use this experience to draw you closer to Him.

Remember, even Jesus, who is God, experienced healing and death. He did experience healing and in fact healed every single person that he came across. Yet he also suffered and died on the cross. Jesus did this for you and I so that we can be free of sin and live forever with Him. Jesus Christ experienced pain, suffering, and death, so that He could be glorified. If Jesus learned obedience by the things that he suffered, how much more should we. Hebrews 5:8 WEB. Though he was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

We must also remember that God can do all things, but not all things are His will. We must always seek God's will and not our own. We must always trust in Him, even when we do not understand. We must always be willing to submit to His will, even when it is difficult.

While we may not understand God's purpose for such things to happen, and we cannot be sure that God will heal the slipped disc and all the health issues, we can be sure that God is with us and that He has a purpose for it. We can be sure that God is working all things together for our good, even when we do not understand. Romans 8:28 WEB

We rejoice in hope. Let us be patient in suffering, and continue steadfastly in prayer. Romans 12:12 WEB

Lord Jesus Christ, we come before You today to lift up this dear person who is struggling with a slipped disc and multiple health issues. We pray for Your healing touch upon their body, that You would restore their health and strength. We also pray for their faith, that You would renew their hope and trust in You. Help them to not give up, but to continue to seek You and Your will for their life. Give them the strength to endure this trial, and use it to draw them closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to spend time in God's Word, to seek His will for your life, and to trust in Him, even when you do not understand. We also encourage you to seek out a community of believers who can support and encourage you during this time. Do not give up on your faith and on God.

It might not make sense to us, but we trust that He knows what He's doing. He's working all things together for your good, even this slipped disc and the other health issues you're facing.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
