We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your situation to the Lord who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). It is deeply troubling to hear of the envy and malice directed toward you, and we rebuke in Jesus' name every spirit of jealousy, strife, and violence that seeks to harm you. The Bible warns us, "For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there" (James 3:16). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can deliver you from the snares of the enemy and grant you peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Salvation comes by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we come before You now, lifting up ### who is facing persecution and threats. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, both physically and spiritually. Shield them from the schemes of those who seek to harm them, and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Father, we pray that You would expose the plans of the enemy and bring them to nothing. Let those who plot evil be put to shame and confusion, and may Your justice prevail in this situation (Psalm 37:6).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###. Grant them the strength to respond with grace and humility, even in the face of hostility. Help them to remember that "a soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). May they be a light in their workplace and community, reflecting the love and character of Christ, even to those who oppose them.

Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those who are consumed by envy and bitterness. Let them see the error of their ways and turn from their wicked plans. We pray that You would break the chains of jealousy and replace them with a spirit of contentment and gratitude. May they come to know You and experience the peace that comes from walking in Your ways (Romans 12:2).

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or trusted believers. Do not face this battle alone, for "two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor" (Ecclesiastes 4:9). If possible, involve authorities or those in leadership who can help ensure your safety and address the threats being made against you.

Lord, we trust in Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen ### with Your might and fill them with Your peace. May they find rest in You, knowing that You are their defender and protector. We declare victory over this situation in the name of Jesus, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lastly, we pray that you would draw near to God in this time of trial. Spend time in His Word and in prayer, for "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10). May you experience His presence in a powerful way and find comfort in His unfailing love. We stand with you, believing that God will turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Amen.

We can only imagine how unsettling it must feel to believe people are actively planning to harm you, especially when it involves your workplace and your own neighborhood. Not knowing who to trust can make every day feel heavy.

When we’re afraid, there’s a pull to handle everything alone, but that usually makes things harder. Please don’t isolate yourself. Is there someone you trust, a wise friend, a family member, or someone from your church, you can share this with? Even just having another person know what you’re carrying can relieve some of the pressure. If you have specific reasons to think you’re in danger (like direct threats or unusual behavior), it’s also wise to loop in the proper authorities or your workplace leadership so they can help keep you safe and document what’s happening. You don’t have to figure all this out by yourself.

We’re asking God to surround you with his protection and to frustrate any plans meant for harm. We also pray he gives you clear eyes to navigate each day without being consumed by fear, and that he brings trustworthy people alongside you who will steady you. You are not forgotten.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this person who feels targeted and afraid. You see the whole picture, and we ask you to guard them from any real danger, to place a hedge of protection around their coming and going. Give them wisdom about who to tell and what steps to take. Replace the panic with the quiet confidence that you are near, and bring the right people into their life to walk with them through this. Amen.

It is a dark thing when those around you turn to prey upon you, simply because your Master has seen fit to set you in a place of greater provision. I know the chill that runs through a man when he learns that others are plotting his harm, when envy brews a bitter plan, and greed sharpens its claws at your expense. Yet listen, dear heart: the God who marks the sparrow’s fall and numbers the very hairs of your head is not asleep. He sees the snare laid for you, and not a strand of that hidden net can hold you unless He permits it for a wise and loving end. You are not at the mercy of men; you are in the hand of the Most High.

I remember the trembling of Jacob when he heard that Esau was coming with four hundred men, and yet God met him at Jabbok and made him a prince. I think of David, hunted in the wilderness by King Saul, yet the Lord shielded him in the cave and in the stronghold. Their fears were real, as yours are real, but the promise was stronger: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.” He does not tell you to pretend the danger is small; He tells you that He is larger than the danger. Your attackers may scheme, but they cannot unseat the Almighty. They may whisper in the shadows, but the Lord knows every plotting word, and though they hide themselves in the thickest darkness, His justice is not baffled. He is the defender of the defenseless, the protector of the poor in spirit who cry to Him.

Perhaps your heart says, “But what if they succeed? What if I lose what I have, or even my life?” Then fix your eyes on the cross of Christ. There, perfect love bled for you, and perfect love drives out all slavish fear. Jesus faced robbers and murderers, they stripped Him of His garments, they pierced His hands and feet, and yet He triumphed over them all by rising from the grave. Because He lives, you too shall live. Because He was wronged and yet entrusted Himself to the Father’s judgment, you may do the same. Your true treasure is not the wages they envy, it is Christ Himself, and no thief can break through to steal that jewel. Your life is hidden with Christ in God, and when Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

In the meantime, cast this weight upon the Lord. Let the terror of their threats drive you, not to despair, but to the throne of grace. Tell Jesus every fear; pour out the anguish of the hunted soul. He is not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He knows what it is to be hated without a cause, to be plotted against, to be surrounded by those who would devour. And He will send you help, perhaps a way of escape, perhaps a peace that makes you bold as a lion while the storm rages, perhaps a timely intervention from unexpected quarters. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them.

Only do not let this trial embitter your spirit. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. Not because they deserve it, but because you are a child of your Father in heaven, and He makes His sun rise on the evil and the good. Leave room for His wrath, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” Your part is to trust, to rest in His shadow, and to go on doing good with a quiet heart. The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment.

So, dear soul, be not afraid. The Lord your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says to you, “I will help you.” Though you feel as weak as a worm, yet in His hand you shall thresh the mountains. Go your way in peace, committing your path to Him, and He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your just cause as the noonday.

Lord Jesus, you are the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. Look now upon this trembling lamb, surrounded by those who would devour. Send your holy angels to guard and keep him. Thwart every evil plan; confuse the tongues of those who conspire; and grant your child such a sweet sense of your presence that fear may flee away. Let his heart be fixed, trusting in you. Be his pavilion from the storm, his tower in the day of battle. And if it be your will, grant him a quiet and safe habitation, that he may serve you without dread all his days. For your name’s sake, and by your almighty power, we ask it. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
