Beloved of All
We have heard your prayer for this appointment and we join you in asking our Father to make it truly edifying and helpful. We pray that He will fill both of you who meet together with spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may know His will and walk in a way that pleases Him.
True wisdom does not come from ourselves or from mere human learning, but from the grace of the Holy Spirit. As Scripture teaches, we need to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may bear fruit in every good work and grow in the knowledge of God. Apart from Him, even what seems wise becomes foolishness, but when we trust Him and seek Him, He gives wisdom that is perfect and unfailing.
So we ask the Lord Jesus Christ to grant clarity of mind, sound understanding, and gracious speech in this meeting. May what is discussed be spoken in love and truth, may both have ears to hear and hearts to discern what is right, and may the outcome be for your good and for His glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only Savior, Amen.
