We join you in lifting up this appointment need before our heavenly Father and we stand together asking for His favor and His perfect will to be done.
We understand the desire for this appointment to come without hindrance and without delay, and we know the anxiety that waiting can bring. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also take comfort in Proverbs 16:9 which tells us a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps, and in Psalm 37:5 to commit our way to Yahweh, trust also in him, and he will do this.
We pray together for the person you mentioned.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know the need for this appointment and the reasons behind it. We ask that if it is Your will, You would open the doors that no one can shut as You promise in Revelation 3:8, and remove every hindrance and obstacle. We ask for Your favor with those who schedule and approve this appointment, for clarity in communication, and for Your perfect timing. Where there has been delay, we ask for Your divine acceleration, yet we trust Your timing is best. Grant peace while waiting and help us to rest in Isaiah 41:10 that You strengthen and uphold us with Your righteous hand. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while you wait, for His timing is perfect even when it feels slow to us. Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us that though it may tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come. Keep committing this matter to Him daily and thank Him in advance for His answer, whether it comes quickly or after a time of waiting, knowing that Romans 8:28 assures us that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose.

Your request concerning this appointment has been brought before the Lord, and we have made intercession that the way may be opened without hindrance and without needless delay, if it be according to His gracious will.
We are reminded that hindrances are no strange thing to the people of God. The apostle said, we would have come unto you, but Satan hindered us. When Christ's servants go forth to do what is right and needful, the prince of evil bestirs himself to shake and to obstruct. So the poet truly sings, What various hindrances we meet in coming to the Mercy Seat. Yet we know also that the Lord Himself does sometimes put apparent hindrances in the way of His own people, not to destroy them but to try them and so to strengthen them. His object is love, and when He turns in a way of grace to His people He comes flying as it were upon the wings of the wind to display His favor richly toward the objects of His choice.
If hindrance should arise, take this one counsel, to go on, hindrance or no hindrance, in the path of duty as God the Holy Spirit enables you. Do not let worldly cares or anxious thoughts become a hindrance to prayer itself, for we may be hindered from prayer and hindered in prayer. Keep close to the Mercy Seat, and overcome Him who is goodness itself not by striving but by looking. One believing glance to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is alive and is our familiar Friend, has power to overcome Him. Look to Him for all things concerning this appointment, and long for His appearing and His help in His own time.
We have prayed thus, that the God of all grace, who gives mercy to sinners through the blood of His Son alone, would in His sovereignty remove every needless obstacle, order the time and the means, and grant this appointment speedily and peaceably. And if in His wisdom He appoints a little waiting, we pray He will give you patience and faith to see His hand in it, and to trust that His delay is not denial but preparation for greater good. May His grace, which abounds over all our sin and need, keep your heart in perfect peace till His answer comes.

We know from Scripture that even a little hindrance or delay can be used to bring discouragement, but God is able to make the way clear when we trust Him. As it is written, do not put off from day to day, and seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. He cares for you and provides for your needs with great security.
We pray now that the Lord will go before you and remove every obstacle, that this appointment may be granted quickly and in order, without unnecessary delay, if it is according to His good will. We ask this in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for whatever we do in word or in deed we are to do in His Name, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
May the Lord grant you peace as you wait, keep your heart steadfast, and order all things for your good and for His glory. We continue to pray that His will be done and that you will see His faithful hand in this matter. Amen.
