Appointment

It is good that an appointment opened up, even if it means a long wait. You have already taken that first step of faith by getting on the schedule. That is no small thing, and it reminds me of the principle that as we step out in the way, the Lord leads us. You are in the way now, and you can trust that He will direct every detail of this day.

The Holy Spirit is the Helper, the One who comes alongside to walk with you. You will not be sitting in that office alone. He is able to steady your heart, calm your mind, and even grant unusual favor so that the delay is shorter than expected. We pray for just that: that the doctor can see you quickly and that all goes smoothly with the refill. Our times are in the Father’s hands, and He knows how much you need this relief.

I also remember that when Isaac’s servants kept digging wells, the first ones brought strife and clenched spaces, but then they dug another and named it Rehoboth, for “the Lord has made room for us.” This is my prayer for your wait, that the Lord would make spaciousness in that room, that the hours would not press in on you with anxiety or frustration, but that you would find a kind of shelter in His presence. He weeps with those who hurt and sits with those who wait; Jesus knows physical pain and the weariness of the body.

As for your companion, be assured that the Good Shepherd cares for the little ones. We ask that they would be peaceful and well throughout, and that you would both see God’s provision in the timing and the outcome. There is much in life that we cannot explain, much waiting we do not fully understand, but the call is always to trust. The measure of love we need is already given to us in Christ, and He will not leave you wanting in this moment. May the Spirit uphold you, may the wait be brief, and may you leave with what you need, giving thanks.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this time. It was a blessing to lift your needs before the Lord, asking Him to grant you favor and efficiency at your ###. We prayed that your wait would be short, that the process of refilling your ### would go smoothly, and that you would be treated with kindness and compassion.

If the Lord answered these prayers and your ### went quickly and well, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, your wait was long or the process was difficult, please share that with us as well—we are here to continue standing in the gap for you, asking God to grant you patience, comfort, and swift resolution.

May the Lord continue to guide you, strengthen you, and surround you with His peace as you trust in Him. We will keep praying for your health and well-being, believing that He hears and answers according to His perfect will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
