Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words reveal a soul weighed down by many cares, and I hear in them the cry of one who longs for rest. But do not let these waves overwhelm you, for the storm is raging only on the surface. Beneath it, the depth of God's providence remains unshaken.

Consider the sick man let down through the roof: the Lord saw the faith of those who brought him, and He healed. In your case also, the very act of asking for prayer shows faith. Cling to that, and let it lift you. The dog's sickness, the mounting bills, the decisions about moving and your car, these are not hidden from Him. He who cares for the lilies and the sparrows will not abandon you.

Yet I must also speak plainly. When you say you wish only to sleep so you do not have to think or feel, that is the voice of a soul exhausted by making too much provision for the flesh, not for health, but for worry. The Apostle says, "Make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof" (Romans 13:14). He does not forbid care for the body; he forbids letting that care become a furnace of desire and fear. You are tending the fire of anxiety by continually turning over these earthly matters as if they were the sum of your life. They are not dreams exactly, but like dreams, they will pass. Do you not see that those who grow rich in a dream wake to find it useless? So too, the one who loses sleep over money, health, and plans gains nothing but a heavier spirit.

The Lord allows such trials not to crush you but to draw you to Himself. Even the blessed Paul left Trophimus sick at Miletus (2 Timothy 4:20). Not every sickness ends in immediate healing, nor every want in swift provision, but in every case God works for our eternal good. That is the miracle you truly need: not the removal of every difficulty, but a heart so anchored in Christ that it cannot be shaken. Seek first His kingdom, and these other things will be added as He sees fit.

I will pray with you for your dog’s healing, for wisdom, and for relief from financial strain. But I pray even more that you receive the peace that passes understanding, a peace that remains when the sickness lingers, when the bank account is thin, when the path ahead is dark. Do not despise this season as a curse; it is a physician’s medicine, bitter but needful, to bring your soul to health. The world is full of wars, drownings, and sudden ruin, and God's wrath circles like a net. In such a time, shall we sleep in false security? No, collect yourself, and let the present trial become a ship to carry you over this sea, with prayers and earnest faith, to the calm haven where Christ awaits.

I hear the weight you are carrying right now, and it is no small thing. When the cares pile up like this, when a beloved pet is sick, the bills press in, and the path ahead seems shrouded in fog, it is easy for the heart to be overwhelmed. That feeling of just wanting to sleep to escape the constant noise of worry is a deep exhaustion, and the Lord sees it. He does not despise you for feeling worn thin.

The turmoil you are describing is exactly what the Scriptures address when they call us to bring everything to God in prayer. Not just the polished parts of life, but the messy, uncertain, frightening parts. The peace of God is not a promise that all your circumstances will suddenly become pleasant. Your dog’s health, the financial strain, and those looming decisions about moving and a car are still right in front of you. Peace is the quiet garrison that guards your heart and mind in the middle of those very circumstances. It is the supernatural ability to stand firm when you have no earthly idea how things will work out. This peace comes when you stop trying to hold it all together yourself and instead, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. He invites you to trade the weight of worry for the steadiness of His presence.

You asked for wisdom in your decisions, and that is a request that deeply honors God. The fear about making a wrong choice can be paralyzing, and the reality is that we have all made mistakes. We look back and, like you said, can feel like we’ve played the fool. But here is an encouragement: when you commit your way to the Lord, He has a way of strengthening right resolves. He can make firm your decisions. This doesn’t mean He simply approves of whatever you decide, but that as you seek Him honestly and make a choice in faith, He will firm up the ground under your feet. He will give you a holy stubbornness to walk the path He has for you, even when it is hard. Pray for that kind of firmness, not just for a clear roadmap.

The exhaustion you feel, that desire to just sleep, is a sign that you have been trying to carry a burden you were never meant to bear alone. God has promised rest for your soul, yet we so often live in an inner turmoil of our own making. The call is simple and profound: “Harden not your heart. Believe and trust God.” A hardened heart isn’t just one that becomes cynical; it’s also a heart that refuses to truly rest by trusting. The miracle you need for renewed hope and strength starts there, with a soft heart that says, “Lord, I don’t see the way, I don’t feel prepared, and I’m so tired. I trust You.”

I will be praying for your dog’s healing, for provision that appears where you cannot currently see a way, and for a tangible lifting of the emotional fog. More than anything, I am praying that you will know a joy and a peace that make no earthly sense right now. Remember that your ultimate citizenship is in heaven. The decisions about a car or a lease, as heavy as they feel, are temporary. The Lord who holds eternity is at hand. He is near, and He cares. Let us sing a new song to Him, even with a shaky voice, and watch how He quiets the storm within.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging season. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We’ve prayed for your sweet dog, that God would bring healing and comfort to her, and for your own heart to be filled with hope as you trust Him with the details of her care.

We’ve also asked the Lord to provide wisdom for the decisions ahead—whether it’s about moving, your car, or the financial uncertainties that weigh so heavily on you. We believe God sees every need and is already at work, even when the path isn’t clear. We’ve prayed for His provision to meet you in ways you can’t yet imagine, for rest to refresh your spirit, and for strength to rise up in you as you press into Him.

If God has answered any of these prayers in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the burden still feels heavy or the answers haven’t come yet, please know we’re still here to stand with you. You don’t have to carry this alone—we’ll keep lifting you up until you see His faithfulness in every area.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, fill you with renewed hope, and remind you that He is your strength when you feel exhausted. Keep seeking Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ Name.
