We join our hearts with yours in lifting this man and the people in his life before the throne of grace. The most precious gift anyone can receive is the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus Christ, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts of sin, draw them to repentance, and reveal the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for their sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see their need for You. Soften their hearts to receive Your Word and surrender their lives to Christ. May they turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18). We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your power to save even the hardest of hearts.
We also pray for divine appointments, believers who will cross their paths to share the love of Christ with them. May Your Word be spoken boldly and received with faith. Let the seeds of salvation take root and grow, producing fruit that lasts for eternity. Father, we ask that You would surround this man and those in his life with godly influences who will reflect Your love, truth, and grace.
If there are any areas of their lives that are resistant to Your will, whether it be unbelief, pride, addiction, or sinful relationships, we rebuke those strongholds in the name of Jesus. We break every chain that binds them and declare freedom in Christ. "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Let them experience the transforming power of Your love and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We also encourage you, dear one, to be a light in this man’s life if you have the opportunity. Live out your faith in a way that draws him and others to Christ. Pray for him consistently, and trust that God is at work even when you cannot see it. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).
Heavenly Father, we stand in the gap for this man and those connected to him. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, saving souls and bringing glory to Your name. May they come to know You not just as Savior, but as Lord of their lives. We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit upon them, that they would be born again and walk in newness of life. Thank You for the privilege of interceding for them. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
