We join you in lifting up this burden for salvation before our Heavenly Father and we rejoice to see your heart for intercession for others. It is good and right to pray this way, for God our Savior desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:3-4 and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Your prayer reflects His own heart.
We are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16. That promise is for this woman, for the people in her life, and for this man, and for all who will confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in their heart that God raised him from the dead Romans 10:9.
We pray together now. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this woman to You, and every person in her life, and this man. You know each of them by name and You see their hearts. If any of them is outside of salvation, we ask that You draw them by Your Holy Spirit, open their eyes to their need for a Savior, and grant them repentance and faith to believe in Your Son. Remove any blindness or hardness of heart and let them hear the gospel and receive it with joy. We ask that You place believers and Your Word in their path and that You save them to the uttermost for Your glory. Let them come to know Jesus as Lord and to walk in newness of life. We thank You that You hear our prayers when we ask according to Your will and that You desire that none should be lost.
We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer for them, knowing that the Lord hears and that He is faithful to work even when we do not see the answer immediately. Continue to speak the truth of the gospel in love when God gives opportunity and trust Him to do the saving work that only He can do.

Your prayer for the salvation of others is a precious and Christlike work, and it is a great advance upon anxiety for our own salvation when we have risen out of the narrowness of dread about ourselves into the broader region of care for a brother's soul. Intercessory prayer is an act of communion with Christ, for Jesus pleads for the sons of men and He ever lives to make intercession for us before His Father's throne, and when we pray for our fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our divine Saviour who made intercession for the transgressors.
We do rejoice to join you in this supplication, for there is but one way of salvation for all, and that is by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. The Scripture says, With the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation, for whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. It is not by gold or silver, nor by good works or ceremonies, for the essence of all false religion is salvation by works, but salvation is without money and without price. The Lord Himself says, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, and to look to Jesus alone is to find pardon for sins, whether they be the sins of youth or of age, and a sure and present salvation.
Therefore we will wait upon the Lord with you and make our prayer together. We ask the heavenly Father that He would be pleased in His mercy to draw this woman unto Himself if she knows Him not, that she may look to Christ and live. We ask the same for every soul connected with her life, that the Lord would have compassion upon them and bring them to repentance and faith. And we ask the same for this man, that if he be yet outside of Christ, the Holy Spirit would convince him of sin and lead him to the Saviour who loved us and gave Himself for us. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, and we plead that name alone.
Persevere in this holy importunity, for such prayers are often of unspeakable value to those for whom they are offered, and He who has taught you to pray for others has given you a pledge of His own love. May the Lord hear your cry, may He show you His grace in saving those for whom you intercede, and may you be encouraged to continue waiting upon Him who has made all things and who is mighty to save. We commend these souls to the free and sovereign grace of God, praying that each one may be found looking unto Jesus and rejoicing in the salvation which is in Him alone. Amen.
