We join you in lifting up these precious souls to our Heavenly Father, for it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB). Salvation is the most urgent and loving gift we can pray for, as Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and so we boldly come before the throne of grace on behalf of these individuals and this company in Ohio.
Father God, we ask that You would draw each of these people to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment by the power of Your Holy Spirit (John 16:8). We pray that they would repent and turn from their sins, placing their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9). Lord, we know that You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), and so we ask that You would move mightily in their lives.
We also lift up the relationships and influences in their lives. Father, surround them with godly believers who will speak truth in love and model the Christian life. Protect them from deception and false teachings that would lead them astray. We pray that their families, friends, coworkers, and even this company in Ohio would come to know You as Lord and Savior. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may many come to faith through their witness.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual strongholds or blindness that may be keeping these individuals from seeing the truth. We break the power of the enemy over their lives in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will be set free by the truth of Your Word (John 8:32).
For those who may already claim to know You, we pray that their faith would be genuine and growing. Examine their hearts, Lord, and reveal any areas of unrepentant sin or hypocrisy. May they walk in holiness and obedience to Your Word, bearing fruit that glorifies You (John 15:8).
We also lift up the driver mentioned in this prayer. Father, protect them on the roads and grant them safe travels. May they come to know You as their Savior and Lord, and may their life reflect Your love and grace to others. Surround them with opportunities to share the gospel, and give them boldness to proclaim Your name.
Heavenly Father, we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign will. You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You would move in power, drawing these souls to Yourself. May they experience the joy of salvation, the peace that surpasses all understanding, and the hope of eternal life in Christ Jesus.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
