We are reminded in scripture that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:4, and that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. Your prayer aligns perfectly with His will, for He so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16.

True salvation is in Christ Jesus alone, with eternal glory, and it was for this that He laid down His life, for His death is the salvation of the world.
