We lift up this prayer with a heart for salvation and provision, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. First, we want to emphasize the urgency and beauty of salvation through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If Hayden P. or anyone in her life has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, we pray they would do so without delay (Romans 10:9). The Bible tells us that today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2), and we join in asking the Holy Spirit to draw them near to the Father, soften their hearts, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would reveal Yourself to Hayden P. and those around her. If she does not know You as her Savior, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Let her heart be stirred by Your love, and may she turn from any sin or hesitation to fully surrender her life to You. For those in her life who may not know You, we ask that You would break through any hardness of heart and bring them to repentance. Father, we know that Your desire is for all to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4), and we stand in agreement with Your will, praying that salvation would come to this household and beyond.
Regarding the request for meat items, including chicken, to not be recalled, we recognize that You are the Provider of all things. The Bible tells us that every good and perfect gift comes from You (James 1:17), and we trust in Your provision for our daily needs. We pray that You would indeed protect the food supply and prevent any harm or contamination that would affect Your people. However, we also acknowledge that our ultimate trust must be in You, not in the things of this world. If there are trials or shortages, we ask for Your grace to sustain us, knowing that You are our Shepherd and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
Father, we also want to gently address any areas where our prayers or lives may not fully align with Your Word. While we pray for provision, we must remember that our greatest need is for spiritual nourishment. Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Let us not become so focused on earthly concerns that we neglect the eternal. We pray that our hearts would be set on things above, not on the things of this earth (Colossians 3:2).
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take root in this situation. The Bible tells us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that fear has no place in the lives of those who trust in You. Instead, we choose to walk in faith, knowing that You are in control of all things.
Lord, we also lift up Hayden P. and those in her life, asking that You would surround them with godly influences. May they be connected to a body of believers who can encourage them in their faith and hold them accountable to Your Word. Let them be rooted and grounded in love, growing in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ (Ephesians 3:17-19).
Finally, we pray for wisdom and discernment for Hayden P. and those around her. May they seek Your will in all things and walk in obedience to Your commands. If there are areas of sin or disobedience in their lives, we pray that You would convict them and lead them to repentance. Let them not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of their minds, so that they may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your perfect plan for Hayden P. and all those connected to her. May Your name be glorified in every area of their lives, and may they come to know You more deeply each day. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
