We lift this request to our Heavenly Father with hearts full of compassion and faith, standing on the truth of His Word. First and foremost, we rejoice that this prayer is lifted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and we are so grateful that you have called upon Him, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).
Father, we intercede for this young woman and all those in her life who may not yet know You as their Lord and Savior. We ask that You would draw them to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness, opening their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Your Word tells us that "no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44), so we trust in Your sovereign grace to work in their hearts. May they come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, turning away from sin and embracing the new life You offer. We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit upon Massachusetts, that many would be saved and added to Your kingdom.
Lord, we also bring before You the concerns for safety and well-being. We ask that You would indeed protect people from harm, accidents, and evil. Your Word assures us that "the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). We pray for vigilance in our food and drink supply, that there would be no recalls or contamination, and that You would guard against any schemes of the enemy to bring harm. We stand against the spirit of death and violence, declaring that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the plans of the evil one to steal, kill, and destroy, and we proclaim life, peace, and safety in Jesus' name.
We are especially moved by the plea for deliverance from sexual sin and lust. Father, we know that sexual immorality is a struggle for many, but Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). We pray for strength and self-control for this dear one, that they would honor You with their body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of addiction, temptation, or ungodly desire. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in purity and holiness, setting their minds on things above, not on the things of this earth (Colossians 3:2). We declare that no temptation has overtaken them except what is common to man, and God is faithful, who will not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can bear, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that they may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13).
We also want to gently encourage this one to seek accountability and fellowship with other believers. The enemy thrives in secrecy, but "if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7). We pray that they would find a biblical, Christ-centered church community where they can grow in faith and be supported in their walk with You.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne of grace on behalf of this request. We trust in Your goodness, Your mercy, and Your power to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and we stand firm in the victory that is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray:
Lord God Almighty, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this dear one and all those connected to this prayer. We ask that You would move mightily in their lives, drawing them closer to You and saving those who are lost. Father, we pray for protection over our nation, our communities, and our food supply, that You would guard us from harm and evil. We specifically lift up the struggle with sexual sin and lust, asking that You would break every chain and set this one free by the power of Your Spirit. Fill them with Your love, Your truth, and Your strength, that they may walk in holiness and purity, bringing glory to Your name.
We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no weapon formed against them would prosper. Surround them with godly influences and wise counsel, that they may grow in wisdom and discernment. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon Massachusetts and upon every heart that does not yet know You, that they would come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your unfailing love and Your perfect plan for each life. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
