We hear your heart’s cry for a fresh start, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s guidance for this next chapter of your life. You have asked the Lord that you may soon relocate and begin life again. Hear this: no removal of your body to another place can begin the life that matters. It was the beginning of life to me when I saw Jesus as dying in my place; before that all was darkness and as the shadow of death. The Christian life is begun, continued, and perfected altogether in connection with the Lord Jesus Christ, not with any address upon earth.
If you have that beginning, you may move or stay, and your latter end will greatly increase. If you have not, you will carry the old nature with you to the new house, and the new place will not make a new creature. Therefore I bid you first and chiefly to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. There is life in a glance of trust. Then, being His, commit the matter of your removal to Him. The seed will not rot under the clods unless the heavenly Farmer watches over it, and your path will not be made plain unless He goes before you. If the place is for your good and His glory, He will open the door; if not, He will give you grace to stand still and see His salvation.
I join you in prayer, but not chiefly for a change of address. Father, if it is Your will, open the way for this soul to move; but above all, grant repentance and remission of sins, beginning at the very heart.
