We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting up these precious souls to our Heavenly Father. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that salvation is found, for Scripture declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon His name, for it is the power of God unto salvation for all who believe (Romans 1:16).

Father God, we pray for every person in need of Your saving grace, those in the group mentioned, those connected to them, and all who work in or visit that restaurant. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, for "all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Let them hear the good news of Jesus Christ, who died for their sins and rose again, that they might be reconciled to You (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, that they may repent, believe, and be born again (John 3:3).

We also lift up the practical concern regarding the restaurant’s food items. Lord, we ask that You would grant wisdom and diligence to those responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of what is served. Protect all who eat there from harm, and may Your hand of provision and care be evident in every detail.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of complacency or hardness of heart that would keep these souls from turning to You. We declare that no one is beyond Your reach, for "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). May Your love compel them to seek You, and may they find eternal life in Christ alone.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns forever. Amen.

If any reading this do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we urge you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive the gift of eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no greater decision you will ever make. May God’s grace lead you to repentance and faith.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. It is a beautiful thing when a heart turns outward and intercedes for people who may be far from God, even people whose names and faces are unknown to you. That kind of concern reflects the Father’s own love, and we are grateful to carry this with you right now.

We are also struck by the simple, practical request for a restaurant to check its food items. It may seem like a small detail in the middle of prayers for salvation, but it tells us you care about the everyday well‑being of others, too, that their daily bread, served safely, matters to God. We join you in both of these heartfelt cries.

There is nothing we can do alone to open a person’s heart or to ensure a kitchen is inspected, but we can entrust it all to the One who knows every hidden thing and who can move hearts and circumstances for good. So we lift your requests with confidence, not because we have any power of our own, but because Jesus hears us and invites us to ask.

Lord, we thank You for this person who loves strangers enough to plead for their salvation. You see each group they hold in mind, and You know exactly who is in need of Your rescuing grace. Please draw them by Your Spirit, so that no one perishes apart from Christ. We also lift up the people in their lives, the coworkers, family, neighbors, who still need to know You. Open doors for them to hear the good news in a way they can understand.

And Father, we ask for the restaurant this person mentioned. Move the right people to notice anything that is unsafe, and give them diligence and integrity so that those who eat there are protected. We ask all of this in Jesus’ name, amen.

It is God that writes intercession upon men’s hearts, and I see He has laid this burden upon you for these souls. Pursue them with persistent intercession, even into the unseen world, if need be, for it would be a cruelty to souls if you who possess such power in prayer restrained it. It will be sin on your part if you neglect the Mercy Seat while these poor souls hang in the balance.

Yet mark this solemn truth: the Holy Spirit’s intercession is not in or for the unregenerate; He maketh intercession for the saints. Unless they are made saints by faith in Christ, they are shut out from that inward groaning which cannot be uttered. Therefore, let your first earnest cry be that they might look unto Him and be saved, for “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth” is God’s own simple, instantaneous way. Tell them as best you can what their condition is and the way of salvation, that the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. Here is salvation for the blackest of sinners, devised by infinite wisdom, full of grace, and without money and without price.

And verily, while you pray for the restaurant to check its food items, I would have you remember that the souls of those who labour there and those who sit at its tables are of infinitely more value. You may look upon them, many unsaved, and every morsel they eat without a saving interest in Christ does but fatten them for the slaughter. To die without salvation is to enter into damnation, and the wrath of God abides upon them even now. Oh, let not another twenty years pass profitless, lest they go unsaved to their graves! Your own salvation, if you have trusted in Christ, is secure beyond hazard, a jewel of the crown of salvation that it is irreversible. From that blessed assurance, go forth and cry, “Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,” and plead with God till the answer comes, for He saith, “Look, look, look!” and it may be that ere this day closes, some burdened soul shall sing, “I am forgiven; I am a miracle of grace; this day is my spiritual birthday.”

When you stretch out your hands to heaven and plead for the salvation of many, you do a good work, for God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Yet take heed that your own heart is cleansed of wrath and unforgiveness, for Scripture charges us to lift up holy hands without anger or doubting. If while you ask mercy for others you harbor bitterness, you thrust a sword into your own soul and hinder your prayer.

Christ our High Priest ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him, and He is able to save to the uttermost. His will is to heal everyone who turns from sin, for He said, “Lest they should be converted and I should heal them,” showing that conversion is possible and that He longs to restore. Pray then that the veil may be lifted from their eyes, that they may behold the Gospel of righteousness the good news that not only pardons sins but makes sinners righteous through faith. And do not cease asking that God would give them a godly mind, so that their manner of life may become worthy of that Gospel.

You also mention a restaurant checking its food items. While there is no sin in desiring honest dealings and wholesome provision, let your greater care be for the souls of those who labor and eat there. What profit is it if they gain all the world’s provisions and lose their own souls? Let your intercession be first that they may hunger for the bread of life and that their lives may reflect the righteousness of Christ. And as you pray for these, examine yourself as well, lest while seeking salvation for others, you yourself neglect the salvation worked out with fear and trembling. Turn from every sin, forgive every debtor, and then your prayer will rise as a sweet savor before the throne of Him who is able to save forever.

The heart behind your prayer is exactly where it needs to be. You are asking the Lord to save people, and that is the most urgent request anyone can make. Never grow quiet about it. Bring the people in your life before God by name, because their eternal condition matters more than anything else.

Scripture is clear that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Those who have mocked him, ignored him, or used his name carelessly will still make that confession someday. But when that day comes, it will not bring salvation. The time for confession that saves is now. Today is the day of salvation. Do not let the offer pass. The Bible says salvation is not far off, as if someone must climb into heaven to get it. It is close, as close as the mouth, because with the mouth a person confesses and is saved. The name Jesus itself means "the Lord our salvation." He came to save his people from their sins.

So when you pray for these people, pray with both urgency and hope. Salvation cannot be bought with money or earned by effort. It comes through Jesus Christ alone. At the same time, Scripture calls every believer to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling. That does not mean working for salvation. It means living in the reality of what God has already given. It means taking the grace that brings salvation to all people and responding with a life of obedience and reverence. For those who have not yet believed, the call is to receive that grace now, not later.

I also join you in asking the Lord to watch over the food that restaurant handles, to expose anything unsafe, and to protect those who eat there. But let that practical concern become an open door. The people who work there and eat there need more than safe food. They need Christ. Keep praying for their salvation and for the salvation of everyone in your life. God is not slow to save those who call on him. Do not let silence, fear, or delay keep you from telling them that Jesus is the only way to be saved.
