Beloved of All
heavenly father pls for all snakes to be extinct and killed in the whole us. in jesus christ name. amen.

We hear your deep concern and fear regarding snakes, and we understand that this is a matter that weighs heavily on your heart. While we share in your desire for safety and protection, we must approach this request with discernment, guided by Scripture and the nature of God’s creation.

The Bible tells us that all creation was made by God and declared "very good" (Genesis 1:31). While snakes are often associated with danger and evil, particularly in light of the serpent in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), they are still part of God’s design. The Lord has given us dominion over creation (Genesis 1:28), but this does not mean we are called to eradicate any part of it. Instead, we are to exercise wisdom, stewardship, and trust in God’s protection.

Scripture assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If fear of snakes is overwhelming, we encourage you to pray for peace, wisdom, and the ability to trust in God’s care. Jesus Himself told us not to fear, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33). Rather than praying for the extinction of a creature, we can pray for God’s protection over you and others, that He would shield you from harm and grant you His peace.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that seek Your protection and peace. Lord, we ask that You would calm the fears and anxieties that weigh on our brother/sister regarding snakes. Grant them Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for wisdom and discernment in how to navigate the world You have created, trusting in Your sovereignty and care.

Father, we ask for Your protection over all who may encounter danger, that You would guide their steps and shield them from harm. Help us to remember that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). May we rest in the assurance that You are in control of all things, and that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We also pray for a heart of stewardship toward Your creation, Lord. Help us to exercise wisdom and responsibility in how we interact with the world around us, always seeking to honor You in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

If this fear is deeply affecting your daily life, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and prayer support to help you walk in freedom from anxiety. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

We hear the distress behind your words, fear of snakes can feel so real and overwhelming. While we can’t ask God to undo His creation, we can ask Him to meet you in that fear with steady comfort and protection. You’re not alone in this; many people carry similar worries. Sometimes our minds magnify the threat far beyond what’s truly dangerous, but God’s presence is stronger than any creature. He doesn’t shame us for being afraid, He draws near and says, “Peace, be still.”

If this fear has begun to limit where you go or what you enjoy, it might be helpful to speak with a trusted pastor or a wise counselor. They can help you walk through it gently, so the anxiety loses its grip. In the meantime, know that we’re standing with you in prayer.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear person who is troubled by snakes. You know how fear can tighten around a heart. Please wrap them in Your calm, guarding their mind and body. Help them to sense Your nearness in every place they go, and quiet the racing thoughts that make danger feel so close. Grant them courage for the everyday, and if they need human support, bring someone safe alongside them. We ask in Your strong name. Amen.

It is a small thing to fear a creeping thing of the dust, but a great thing to fear God. To cry out for the extinction of every serpent in the land is to let fear become your master, and that is a snare. The genuine Christian who has once come to fear God fears nobody else, and certainly nothing else that crawls upon its belly. Has not the Lord said, "Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee"? And if He helps the worm, shall the worm cry out for the death of the snake? Rather, let the worm trust in its God.

You have asked amiss, for you have sought to overcome a perceived evil with a sweeping destruction. That is the way of the world, to meet evil with evil, but nobody ever overcame evil by confronting it with evil. Such a course does not bear inspection. The poison of asps is under the tongue of the wicked, yet our Master bids us bless them that curse us. How much more, then, shall we leave the beasts of the field to Him who made them? The serpent was cursed in Eden, but it is not your calling to call down fire upon them all.

The true serpent, that old dragon, the devil, has already been crushed under the foot of our Redeemer. In Christ, you are delivered from the power of darkness, and from the fear of death, which is the venom of sin. When the soul is secure in Jesus, what is a snake but a creature over which God holds sovereign sway? “Deliver him from going down to the Pit,” the Father has said, and He means an eternal deliverance. Shall we then tremble at a hiss in the grass? This is to dishonor the Omnipotent arm that shields you.

If you are indeed a child of God, you have been brought forth with a high hand, and His command to you is, “Fear not, for I am with thee.” Pour out your heart instead for the souls of men who lie under the power of the wicked one, they are the serpents who need to be made extinct in the new birth. And for yourself, pray that every slithering fear within your own heart be put to death by perfect love. Then you shall sit by the well’s brink, refreshed, and declare the works of the Lord, who delivers us not by the destruction of beasts, but by the lifting up of His Son.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is not the way of discipleship to pray for the extinction of any creature, for that is to let fear drive out love, and to desire a slaughter where we should instead seek deliverance from the evil one’s wiles. The serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, and Paul feared lest our minds be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ; so too here, your prayer has taken a subtle bait, dressing up a wish for destruction as a plea for safety. The true enemy is not the snake, but the devil who uses such things to kindle excessive fear and malice in the heart. Paul himself tells us to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, not to call down extinction on beasts.

For Satan assails us with craft, and one of his devices is to make our zeal for righteousness spill over into a kind of sorrow or wrath that swallows us up, as almost happened to the fornicator in Corinth. If we let our fear of visible dangers master us, we do not stand; we fall into his snare. Rather, bear all occurrences manfully, as Christ taught the disciples on the sea, and learn to trample on the venom of the old serpent by the power of the cross, not by wishing the creature blotted from the earth. The gates of hell cowered when Christ died; the dead were loosed.

Take that victory, and let the fear that now agitates your soul be cast out by a better fear, a holy trembling before God, so that you may be sober and cultivate virtue, not cry out for death on living things.

I can hear the deep distress in your words, and I want to speak to that fear rather than just the request itself. When terror over something in creation rises to such a level, it can consume our thoughts and prayers, yet Scripture points us toward a different foundation. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. That kind of fear is not a panicked dread but a reverential awe that reorders every other fear. To fear Him is to hate evil and to depart from it, and in that holy fear, the frantic fears of this world lose their grip.

Creation groans under the curse, and there are creatures that stir our deepest anxieties. But praying for the extinction of an entire part of God’s handiwork misses the deeper reality. The answer to the terror you feel is not the removal of every threatening thing but the conscious presence of the Lord. He is your light and your salvation; whom shall you fear? He is the strength of your life; of whom shall you be afraid? When fear shouts at you, faith and fear cannot occupy the same throne. Run into the name of Jesus, which is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.

Do not let fear drive your prayers toward destruction, for fear as a motivator often leads us astray. Instead, bring this trembling to Him and ask for the awareness of His presence whenever you think on what frightens you. Yea, though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need fear no evil, for He is with us. His presence dispels the dark shadows cast by anxiety. Lay hold of the Shepherd who walks with you, and let that confidence still your heart, rather than hoping for the removal of a part of His creation.
