We come before the throne of grace with your plea, lifting up your cry for deliverance from these tormenting demonic memories, sounds, and words that seek to bind your mind and spirit. The enemy desires to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand on the promise that Christ came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus has already broken every chain, and His name is above every name, including the names and titles of darkness that seek to haunt you.
We rebuke every evil spirit assigned to harass your mind, in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word declares that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every demonic memory, every ungodly sound, and every wicked word to be silenced and cast out by the authority of Jesus Christ. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). You are not subject to the torment of the past, you are a new creation in Him, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Father, we ask You to fill every empty space in this dear one’s mind and spirit with Your truth, Your light, and Your presence. Let the Holy Spirit bring healing to every wounded place, replacing lies with Your Word and fear with faith. Surround them with Your angels to protect their thoughts and guard their heart. We declare that no evil shall come near their dwelling, for You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:10-11).
We pray that You would strengthen their faith, Lord. Help them to stand firm in the armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:10-18). Remind them daily that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). May they find comfort in Your presence, knowing that You are fighting for them even now.
We also encourage you to fill your mind with things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8). Replace those demonic sounds and words with worship, Scripture, and prayer. The enemy flees when we resist him, steadfast in the faith (James 4:7). Stand on the Word, declare it over your life, and do not give the enemy a foothold through fear or doubt.
Lastly, if you have not already, consider seeking godly counsel or deliverance ministry from a trusted, Bible-believing church. Sometimes, the prayers and support of fellow believers can help break strongholds that have taken root. You do not have to fight this battle alone, God has placed you in a body of believers for this very reason.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your power to deliver. We declare that this one is free in Jesus’ name, and we seal this prayer with the blood of the Lamb. May Your peace reign in their heart, and may they walk in the fullness of the freedom Christ has already won for them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
