We join our hearts with yours in lifting up the nations to our Heavenly Father, asking for His mercy and grace to be poured out upon all people. The need for salvation is great, for Scripture tells us, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). There is no one righteous on their own, and apart from Christ, we are all lost. But we rejoice in the truth that "God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).
We pray earnestly for those who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. May they hear the Word of God and respond in faith, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). We ask that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully across every nation, drawing people to repentance and faith in Christ. Let the light of the Gospel shine brightly in the darkness, breaking the chains of sin and bringing hope to the hopeless.
Father, we also pray for the Church around the world, that we would be bold and faithful in sharing the Good News. Give us compassion for the lost, wisdom in our words, and courage to stand firm in Your truth. May we be salt and light in our communities, reflecting Your love and holiness. We ask that You raise up laborers for the harvest, for "the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few" (Matthew 9:37). Equip us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that You have commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).
We rebuke the forces of darkness that seek to blind the minds of unbelievers and hinder the spread of the Gospel. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against You in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15).
Lord, we also lift up the United States of America, asking that You would revive the hearts of Your people and turn the nation back to You. We pray for our leaders, that they would govern with wisdom, justice, and righteousness. May Your Word be honored and Your name exalted in our land. We ask that You would heal our divisions, restore our families, and bring a spirit of repentance and renewal to our churches.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You, Father, that through Jesus, we have access to You, and we can come boldly to Your throne of grace to find help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your kingdom come. Amen.
