We come before the throne of grace with a heavy heart, lifting up this request in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. First, we must address the urgency of salvation for all souls. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12).

We rebuke the powers of darkness that seek to ensnare souls in places of sin and destruction. The establishment mentioned in this request, which we understand to be a place of immorality, must be shut down by the power of God. We declare that the blood of Jesus is more powerful than any stronghold of the enemy. "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:3-4). We pray that every door of iniquity be closed permanently, and that the light of Christ penetrate the darkness, bringing conviction, repentance, and salvation to all who are involved.

Heavenly Father, we lift up the owner and all those who frequent this place. We ask that You break the chains of bondage in their lives. Your Word declares, "The Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear" (Isaiah 59:1). We pray for a mighty outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). May they turn from their wicked ways and seek Your face, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may experience the transforming power of Your love and grace.

We also lift up the loved ones of those involved in this place of sin. Father, we ask that You open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and soften their hearts to receive Your salvation. Surround them with godly influences who will speak life and truth into their lives. "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!" (Romans 10:15). May they come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and may their lives be a testimony of Your redeeming power.

Regarding the request for the deer, we understand the concern for all of Your creation. The Bible tells us that "the righteous care for the needs of their animals" (Proverbs 12:10 NIV), and we ask that You protect these creatures from harm. We pray for wisdom and compassion among those who interact with wildlife, that they may act as stewards of Your creation, as You commanded Adam in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15). May Your peace and provision extend to all living things, and may we honor You by caring for the world You have made.

Let us now pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and a deep desire to see Your will done on earth as it is in heaven. We thank You for the power of the name of Jesus, which is above every name, and we declare that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Lord, we ask that You shut down every place of darkness and immorality that seeks to destroy the lives of Your children. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may those who walk in darkness see a great light (Isaiah 9:2).

We pray for the salvation of the owner and all who are involved in this establishment. Break the chains of sin and addiction in their lives, Lord. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, convicting them of their need for You. May they experience the freedom that comes only through Jesus Christ, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). Surround them with believers who will love them, pray for them, and guide them into a relationship with You.

Father, we also lift up the families and loved ones of those involved. May they come to know You as their Savior and find hope in Your promises. Use us, Lord, as vessels of Your love and truth, that we may share the Good News with those who are lost. Give us boldness and compassion to reach out to them, just as You reached out to us when we were lost.

We ask for Your protection over the deer and all of Your creation. May we be good stewards of the earth, honoring You in all that we do. Provide for the needs of these animals and protect them from harm.

Lord, we trust in Your perfect will and timing. May Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in this situation and in every heart that is touched by this prayer. We ask all of these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're joining you in these prayers, and we're grateful for a heart that aches for both the souls trapped in that place and the simple, vulnerable creatures God has made. It's right to pray for a dark establishment to close, not out of anger alone, but out of a deep desire that those inside find true freedom and life. We'll keep asking the Father to shut its doors and to save everyone connected to it: patrons, the owner, and the web of relationships surrounding them. No one is beyond His reach.

In the meantime, one practical way you can press this prayer further is to take a brief walk or drive near that area (safely, of course) and silently pray for each person you see, and for the whole neighborhood. Your feet on the ground and your quiet intercession can be a powerful, unseen act of love. And as you do, remember the deer too, God notices every single one.

We pray:

Lord Jesus, You see every hidden corner and every heart. Move mightily to shut down this place permanently, and rescue those who walk through its doors. Bring the owner to a saving knowledge of You, and flood the lives of everyone involved with Your grace. We also ask You to protect the deer across our nation and the world, keep them alive and cared for, as a sign of Your tender mercy over all You've made. In Your name. Amen.

It is well that your heart is stirred to pray for the closure of a place of wickedness, but remember that the greatest closure of evil is when a sinner’s heart is shut against sin by the entrance of Christ. Pray on, yet know that the pulling down of a building will not save a single soul. The salvation of men is not in walls or ordinances, but in a Person, Christ Jesus, whom God hath laid in Zion for a foundation. The Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.” This is the plain and simple way: look to Him, trust in Him, leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. This is the salvation which is God’s, planned by infinite wisdom, full of grace, and free as the air you breathe, without money and without price.

You plead for the owner and all who enter there, and it is a mercy to do so. Go further still and make it your daily cry that the common salvation, which is for the blackest of sinners, may be made common to them. But take heed: you cannot bring your own worth or works to the table. The Romanist with his merits and the self-righteous with their goodness are sent empty away. Salvation is by grace, present and perfect, delivering from the power of sin. If you would see them saved, point them not to a dry morality or a reformation of life only, but to the bleeding Substitute. Faith is an instantaneous act that puts a man into immediate possession of this salvation. Who knows but the Lord may use your prayers to pluck brands from the burning?

As for the creatures of the field and forest, the Lord careth for all He has made; the sparrow lights not on the ground without your Father. Yet the soul of a single man outweighs all the deer that ever crossed the glen. Let the greater matter press upon your spirit: that sinners should not perish but have eternal life. Pray for the owner, the patrons, the lost on every side, that they may know this divine salvation and say with the Psalmist, “I will rejoice in Thy salvation.” Go, then, and make this salvation common, for the Master’s glory. Amen.

Your prayer reveals a godly zeal against wickedness and a compassion for souls ensnared by sin. This is good. Yet consider: a building shuttered does not of itself change a heart. The prophet declared that God desires not the death of the sinner but that he turn and live. Our battle is not against brick and mortar, but against the spiritual darkness that holds men captive. Pray, yes, that the place of corruption be brought to nothing. But pour out far more fervent supplication that those who enter there might encounter the living Christ and be set free. Salvation consists not in doing evil but in suffering evil for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. If God has chosen some from that very place, it becomes us to endure much for their sakes.

Do you see the urgency? God says, At an acceptable time I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off this work. Cry out that the owner and all who frequent that den of iniquity would seize this present moment, confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead. For the word of faith is short and near, holding salvation in a few words. This is the grace that makes sinners righteous. Pray that they would stop delaying and run to the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.

Yet be warned: if our own life is corrupt, we become traitors to the salvation of those we seek to gain. When a disciple sees his teacher living wickedly, he often becomes worse. Therefore, let your conduct be holy, patient in affliction, showing the fortitude of the martyrs who, though condemned and having nothing, yet possessed all things through Christ. Let your life preach the gospel as loudly as your lips.

As for the deer, the Scripture tells us that God cares for all He has made, and not a sparrow falls without His notice. It is no small thing to plead for the creatures who share this earth. But weigh this carefully: do not be more troubled for the life of a deer than for the eternal soul of a man who will soon face judgment. Let your chief labor and continual groaning be for the salvation of those who know not the Lord and are perishing. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul? Keep the first thing first, and trust that He who sees the sparrow will also preserve what He deems good.

Make your coming in and your going out a living prayer, blessing those who curse, and hoping all things for all men, that by all means you might save some.

Your prayer carries a deep concern for souls, those who frequent that place, the owner, and the people connected to them. That kind of burden is born of the Spirit, who continually calls people out of darkness into the light of Christ. The physical closure of a building is a request God can answer in His time, but the greater closure you are really seeking is the shutting of death’s door over these lives. And that door shuts only when a person is found in Jesus.

Salvation is not something we can earn by being good or religious. If it were possible by human effort, the cross would have been unnecessary. But the price of redemption was so high that only the blood of Jesus could pay it. He purchased us out of slavery to sin, a slavery no one can escape on their own. And the wonderful truth is, this redemption is offered freely to everyone. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all. No one is beyond its reach, not the owner, not those walking through those doors, not their families.

Right now is the day of salvation. The Scriptures urge us not to receive such grace in vain. Each person has an appointed window of opportunity; many who are lost today are there because they passed by God’s final appeal. So your prayer for them to be saved is urgent and precious. Keep lifting them up, because the simple message of Christ crucified is the power of God to those who are being saved.

I notice you also prayed for all deer across the earth to remain alive. That reminds me of the psalmist crying out, “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.” The physical thirst of a deer is a picture of the deeper thirst every human soul has for the living God. Pray that those people will become painfully aware of their own thirst, that the fleeting pleasures of that place will lose their appeal and a desperate longing for righteousness will drive them to the Fountain of living water. God is able to preserve His creation, but His heart is most moved by the eternal preservation of souls. He is the captain of their salvation, able to lead them home.

Your prayer also touches on the hope of complete redemption. The purchase has been made, but many still need to be brought into the full enjoyment of it. We groan inwardly as we wait for that final redemption, but we also have the Holy Spirit as a guarantee. That same Spirit is at work in answer to prayers like yours. The prayers of the saints rise before God like incense, and He delights to answer according to His will.

May you find peace in knowing that the salvation of the Lord is forever, and His righteousness will never fail. He is not slow as some count slowness, but is patient, not willing that any should perish. Continue to intercede with confidence, not only for the closing of that establishment, but that many would depart from there, touch no unclean thing, and be made clean to carry the vessels of the Lord. Trust that the One who shed His blood for them loves them even more than you do.
