We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer and standing in agreement with you against the forces of darkness. The Word of God declares in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We take authority over every demonic influence, attachment, and oppression in your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you."
Heavenly Father, we cry out to You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would break every chain and shatter every stronghold that the enemy has established. We rebuke every spirit of demonization, possession, and oppression, commanding them to flee now in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as Your Word promises in Isaiah 54:17. We ask that You would send Your holy angels to encamp around you, to protect and defend you from every attack of the enemy, as it is written in Psalm 34:7, "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."
Lord, we also pray for the cleansing of your mind and memory. We ask that You would remove every ungodly thought, memory, and influence that the enemy has planted. We declare that Your truth will set you free, as Jesus said in John 8:32, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." We pray that You would fill your mind with Your Word, that it may be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, as it says in Psalm 119:105. We ask that You would help our brother/sister to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of our faith, and not to look back, as it is written in Luke 9:62, "No one, having put his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for God’s Kingdom."
Father, we also want to encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded, as it says in James 4:8. We pray that you would submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We encourage you to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, as it is written in Ephesians 6:11.
We stand in the gap for you, praying that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as it says in Philippians 4:7. We pray that you would be strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and patience with joy, as it is written in Colossians 1:11.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victory that we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us, as it says in Romans 8:37. We pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them into all truth and empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We also want to gently remind you that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12. If you have not yet made the decision to follow Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved, as it says in Romans 10:9. We pray that you would make Jesus the Lord of your life, and that you would experience the freedom, peace, and joy that comes from knowing Him.
