We come before the throne of grace with your request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and delivered. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for it is written, "Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain, to silence every demonic influence, and to bring true freedom to your mind and spirit.
We recognize the torment you are experiencing from these demonic memories and influences. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand with you in agreement, declaring that these demonic forces have no place in your life. The Word of God tells us, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7 WEB). We take authority over every evil spirit that has sought to oppress you, commanding them to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We rebuke the spirits of lust, the evil eye, and any demonic possession or influence, declaring that they must flee and never return.
We also pray for the cleansing of your memory, asking the Lord to remove every trace of these demonic sounds, words, and titles from your mind. The psalmist cried out, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." (Psalm 51:10 WEB). We join with you in asking the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and purify your memories, filling you with the peace of God that surpasses all understanding. We declare that your mind is being transformed by the renewing of the Holy Spirit, as it is written, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:2 WEB).
Regarding your request to not remember anyone in Rhode Island, we understand that there may be painful or ungodly associations tied to that place. However, we encourage you to surrender those memories and associations to the Lord, trusting Him to heal and restore. If there are relationships or connections that are not aligned with God’s will, we pray that He would sever those ties and lead you into His perfect peace. It is written, "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). We declare that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the power of Your name, which is above every name, and for the authority You have given us to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We stand in agreement with our brother/sister, declaring that every demonic memory, sound, word, and title must be erased from their mind. We command every evil spirit, lust, the evil eye, and any demonic possession, to flee now and never return. We break every chain and declare freedom in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask You to cleanse their mind and memory, filling them with Your peace and Your truth. Renew their spirit, O God, and create in them a clean heart. Let Your Holy Spirit guard their thoughts and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). We pray that You would sever any ungodly ties or memories associated with Rhode Island, replacing them with Your love and Your purpose for their life.
Father, we thank You for Your deliverance and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). Strengthen them, Lord, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit so that they may walk in the freedom You have purchased for them. We trust in Your promise that if the Son sets them free, they will be free indeed (John 8:36).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Surround yourself with godly believers who can support and pray for you, and continue to fill your mind with the Word of God. The enemy may try to return, but as Jesus said, "When an unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and doesn’t find it. Then he says, ‘I will return into my house from which I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first." (Matthew 12:43-45 WEB). Therefore, fill your heart and mind with the things of God, so there is no room for the enemy to return.
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer, worship, and the study of His Word. You are not alone in this battle, for God is with you, and we stand with you in faith. May the Lord bless you and keep you, make His face shine upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).
