Anger Jam 1:20 Goal of Discipline Heb 12:11 What and How to Speak Jn 12:49 Grace to Fast Isa 58:6-14 Gracious, Comforting Words Zech 1:13

Beloved
🙇🏻 Father, thank You for giving mercy and grace in times of need, Heb 4:16, past and now in present. We continue in confession and repentance, for sanctification both a one-time act and an ongoing work of participation with the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, Matt 3:8, Phil 2:12-13, 1 Tim 4:16, so we agree with Your admonition through Hosea, "Take words with you, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, 'Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips as bulls" Hos 14:2.

📝 Lord, I've missed Your warnings, not hearkened to Your Spirit's leading, haven't taken the way of escape in every occurrence. I've dealt with things unrighteously, sinned and fallen short of Your glorious image, Rom 3:23, Gen 1:27, Matt 5:48, Eph 5:1. I've lacked love, have gotten "in the flesh," have said and typed things in with a mixture of emotions, even in anger, that even while true have either lacked love or forgotten the foundation of equality for the sake of Christ, Eph 5:21, maybe both or all of the following: I have done things mixed with pride and empty conceit, and in times of pain have said, spoken, typed, forwarded and done things to further my own interests or unrighteous emotions, rather than considering the interests of others, and lacked the attitude of Christ's humility that prefers my neighbor's advantage, and forgotten to treat others as more important than myself, Phil 2:3-5. Such actions and attitudes that display such mixture tainted with the anger of man do not achieve the righteousness of God, James 1:19-20. Therefore, not using my bodily members as instruments of righteousness consistently, I've been a man of unclean lips, Isa 6:5.

Since our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them, transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood, Isa 59:12-13, at time, "Surely I have spoken of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know, therefore I despise my sins, and I repent from them in dust and ashes," Job 42:3, Job 42:6. Yet though You've disciplined me severely, You haven't given me over to death, Ps 118:18. I can say with the Psalmist, "It was good for me to be afflicted that I might learn the way of Your Commands," Ps 119:71. Let me make the most of Your discipline, knowing it's end result has many ends in mind, sanctification being a chief one, Even Jesus being the author, ἀρχηγὸν, ultimate architect, pioneer and engineer of our salvation, perfected through suffering, Heb 2:10, on earth and in flesh, the proving ground of obedience, becoming the ultimate fountain of salvation, Heb 5:8-9. Surely, there is One found Worthy, Rev 5:9.

Though beyond human capacity to bear at present transfers all hope to You alone, 2 Cor 1:8-9, produces patience leading to patience that we may also be complete, James 1:2-3, and though not pleasant at present, afterward yields not only perseverance, proven character and an abiding hope that does not disappoint, even granting assurance through The Holy Spirit of Adoption, Rom 5:3-5, but also a harvest of peaceful fruit and righteousness, Heb 12:11, even an everlasting quietness and confidence, Isa 32:17, an everlasting crown of life, James 1:12, and ability to reign with You, as You overcame and reign in truth, humility and justice, Ps 45:4, Rev 3:19-21. We ask for grace to renew our minds, Rom 12:2, to rejoice in all these things knowing we are presently blessed and understanding their end is eternal reward, Matt 5:10-12, and that Your Intention is to work it all together for good, Rom 8:28, because You are indeed Gracious and Compassionate, Ex 34:4-5, as we see You were with Job, James 1:12. Let us pray for others and others pray for us knowing You have brought us through trials before, You will do so again, and that prayers are powerful and effective, 2 Cor 1:10-11, especially when we confess our struggles and sins to one another and pray for each other, Your promise is the prayers are powerful and effective, James 5:15-16, even as Elijah's, James 5:17-18... Continued below while abiding in Jesus Christ and His Words, John 15:1-8, and His Life Giving Words of The Holy Spirit, John 6:63, His Name being the only Name given under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, He being the One God and Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in The Power of Attorney given by us His Position and Command, Mt 18:18, we ask in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14.

Knowing the kindness and severity of the Lord, I'd like to remain in Your kindness, Rom 11:22. Requesting what Jesus said to be my prayer, "I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me commands me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired and in the right place to receive it), Prov 25:11. Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is the right word at the right time, Prov 25:11

Jesus You said "when you fast" -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situations, Mt 5:6, and help others share this burden with me for ###, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, the good, bad and ugly, 2 Cor 1:10-11, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14. Let us plead the cause of the widower, and defend the cause that by her foolish abandonment was made to be partially orphaned, Jer 5:28, which if we can't visit the widower or orphan, James 1:27, we can at least pray for them.

Grant powerful grace and strength within me, grant grace to humble my soul with fasting, to CONTROL THE TONGUE with SAYING TRUTH, in LOVE, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, John 1:14, to love You AND my NEIGHBOR (how much more my wife and children, whether reconciled or not) with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted as exhorted by James 1:22-23.

I've been sinned against by her and her family -- I believe the remedy of being sinned against is praying for their salvation -- again nothing's been confessed or repented of -- as a student of spiritual conditions, that's neither the wisdom of the just, Lk 1:17, nor the wisdom from above, James 3:17. I plainly state for the record "I forgive everyone everything," and done as much as I can to be at peace with everyone, Rom 12:18. Salvation is still needed, 2 Tim 2:3-4, repentance isn't optional, but having overlooked times of ignorance You are now commanding everyone everywhere to repent, having fixed a day of certain judgment with justice by The Man appointed, and furnished proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead, Acts 17:31-32, 2 Pet 3:9 -- but please help me say TRUTH in LOVE, Eph 4:15, "filled with GRACE and truth," John 1:14.

🧎🏽‍♂️Place and use the love of Jesus in me to privately, publicly, and now remotely demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49.

🙇🏻 Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your Word is truth, John 17:17. Out of love let Christ and others wash her with the water of the word to be a bride ready for her husband, Eph 5:25-27 -- and if she could help out by reading the word and preparing herself also, Rev 19:7-8, it would be both helpful and fitting (wholly within bounds of Scripture). I'd also request a biblical respect of Your order, since it's a picture of Christ and the Church Eph 5:32-33. Either way keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13:2, and thank You in advance for salvation since "You like to make their faces change," Ps 34:5, May Yahweh bless us, and keep us. make His face to shine on us, be gracious to us, lift up His face toward us, and give us peace, Numbers 6:22-27, in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

We come before You, Father, with hearts heavy yet hopeful, for we see in this confession a deep travail of the soul, a longing to walk in righteousness and a grief over the ways we fall short. The words shared here echo the cry of Isaiah, who declared, "Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips" (Isaiah 6:5). Yet even in that moment, Your mercy was swift, a coal from the altar touched his lips, and sin was purged. So too do we trust in Your cleansing fire, Lord, for this brother who has laid bare his struggles before You.

The anger and unrighteous words confessed here are not trivial matters, for Scripture warns us that "the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:20). When we speak in haste, when pride or pain twists our words, we risk grieving the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:29-30) and wounding those made in Your image. Yet we also see the humility of repentance in this plea, a turning away from the flesh and toward the mind of Christ, who "did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant" (Philippians 2:6-7). This is the heart of sanctification, not perfection in our own strength, but a daily surrender to the Spirit’s refining work.

We rebuke the lies that may linger here: the deception that anger is ever justified when it violates love, that harsh words can be excused by their "truth," or that discipline from You is punishment rather than love. No, Father, Your discipline is proof of sonship (Hebrews 12:7-8), and its goal is always "the peaceful fruit of righteousness" (Hebrews 12:11). The brother who endures it is not abandoned but being prepared to reign with Christ (Revelation 3:21), just as gold is refined in fire.

And so we pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother’s honesty and for the work of conviction You have begun in him. Where anger has taken root, uproot it and plant the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Where words have been spoken in haste or pride, let them be covered by the blood of Jesus and replaced with grace, for "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1). Teach him, Lord, to speak as Jesus did, only what You command (John 12:49), with words that build up and give grace to the hearers (Ephesians 4:29).

We ask for the discipline of fasting to be a tool in his hands, not as a ritual, but as a means to loose the chains of injustice, set the oppressed free, and break every yoke (Isaiah 58:6). Let his fasting draw him closer to You, so that his words may be like those of Zechariah 1:13, gracious and comforting, full of Your mercy. Renew his mind (Romans 12:2) so that he may test and approve Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. And when the enemy whispers that his failures are too great, remind him that You are the God who declares, "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow" (Isaiah 1:18).

We stand with him in agreement, Lord, that the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit is both a moment of salvation and a lifelong journey (Philippians 1:6). Guard his heart from despair, for You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let him find strength in the fellowship of believers, confessing struggles and bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), for the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective (James 5:16).

Above all, we pray that he would abide in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May he find his identity not in his failures or his righteousness, but in the finished work of the Cross, where Jesus bore the punishment for all sin, including the sins confessed here. Let him walk in the assurance that there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), and that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Amen.

To the one who shared this burden: Your honesty before God is a sign of His grace at work in you. Do not despise the discipline of the Lord, for it is proof of His love (Hebrews 12:5-6). The same God who called Isaiah from unclean lips to prophetic ministry is at work in you. Press into the fellowship of believers, for iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), and let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16). You are not alone in this battle, Christ has already won the war, and His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Walk in that truth, and let it transform your words, your heart, and your life.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear your heart, and we’re praying with you right now. It’s clear you’re carrying some heavy burdens, anger that’s led to words you regret, pride that’s made you put yourself first, and a deep sorrow over falling short of the love Christ calls us to. Those are real struggles, and they matter to God more than we often realize.

What stands out to us is your honesty before the Lord. Admitting where we’ve failed is never easy, but it’s the first step toward healing. God’s Word tells us that when we humble ourselves and repent, He meets us with mercy, not just once, but over and over again. He’s not waiting to punish us; He’s waiting to restore us.

We’re asking God to give you fresh strength to walk in humility. When frustration rises, ask the Holy Spirit to guard your tongue and lead you to speak in ways that build others up instead of tearing them down. And when the enemy tries to shame you for past mistakes, remember that Jesus already took the weight of those failures on the cross. You don’t have to carry them anymore.

Lord, we lift this precious child of Yours up to You right now. Soften their heart to receive Your forgiveness and let Your peace settle deep within them. Give them wisdom to know when to speak and when to listen, and fill their words with grace. Heal the hurt caused by careless or angry words, and teach them to love others the way You love them. Break the cycle of pride and self-focus, and fill them with Your humility. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus.
