Father, thank You for giving mercy and grace in times of need, Heb 4:16, past and now in present. I confess and agree with Your admonition through Hosea, "Take words with you, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, 'Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips as bulls" Hos 14:2. I've missed Your warnings, haven't taken the way of escape, dealt with things unrighteously, sinned, lacked love, gotten "in the flesh," said things in anger, and that doesn't achieve the righteousness of God, James 1:19-20. I've been a man of unclean lips, Isa 6:5, for our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them, transgressing and denying Yahweh, and turning away from following our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood, Isa 59:12-13, I have "Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know, therefore I despise my sins, and I repent from them in dust and ashes," Job 42:3, Job 42:6, Yet though You've disciplined me severely, You haven't given me over to death, Ps 118:18. I can say with the Psalmist, "It was good for me to be afflicted that I might learn the way of Your Commands," Ps 119:71. Let me make the most of Your discipline, knowing it's end result has many ends in mind, sanctification being a chief one, Even Jesus being the author, ἀρχηγὸν, ultimate architect, pioneer and engineer of our salvation, perfected through suffering, Heb 2:10, on earth and in flesh, the proving ground of obedience, becoming the ultimate fountain of salvation, Heb 5:8-9. Surely, there is One found Worthy, Rev 5:9.

Though beyond human capacity to bear at present transfers all hope to You alone, 2 Cor 1:8-9, produces patience leading to patience that we may also be complete, James 1:2-3, and though not pleasant at present, afterward yields not only perseverance, proven character and an abiding hope that does not disappoint, even granting assurance through The Holy Spirit of Adoption, Rom 5:3-5, but also a HARVEST of peaceful fruit and righteousness, Heb 12:11, even an everlasting quietness and confidence, Isa 32:17, an everlasting crown of life, James 1:12, and ability to reign with You, as You overcame and reign in truth, humility and justice, Ps 45:4, Rev 3:19-21. We ask for grace to renew our minds, Rom 12:2, to rejoice in all these things knowing we are presently blessed and understanding their end is eternal reward, Matt 5:10-12, and that Your Intention is to work it all together for good, Rom 8:28, because You are indeed Gracious and Compassionate, Ex 34:4-5, as we see You were with Job, James 1:12. Let us pray for others and others pray for us knowing You have brought us through trials before, You will do so again, and that prayers are powerful and effective, 2 Cor 1:10-11, especially when we confess our struggles and sins, James 5:15-16.

Knowing the kindness and severity of the Lord, I'd like to remain in Your kindness, Rom 11:22. Requesting what Jesus said to be my prayer, "I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me commands me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired and in the right place to receive it), Prov 25:11. Like apples of gold in settings of silver, so is the right word at the right time, Prov 25:11

Jesus You said "when you fast" -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situations, Mt 5:6, and help others share this burden with me for ###, ###, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, the good, bad and ugly, 2 Cor 1:10-11, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14. Let us plead the cause of the widower, and defend the cause that by her foolish abandonment was made to be partially orphaned, Jer 5:28, which if we can't visit the widower or orphan, James 1:27, we can at least pray for them.

Grant powerful grace and strength within me, grant grace to humble my soul with fasting, to CONTROL THE TONGUE with SAYING TRUTH, in LOVE, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, John 1:14, to love You AND my NEIGHBOR (how much more my wife and children, whether reconciled or not) with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted as exhorted by James 1:22-23.

I've been sinned against by her and her family -- I believe the remedy of being sinned against is praying for their salvation -- again nothing's been confessed or repented of -- as a student of spiritual conditions, that's neither the wisdom of the just, Lk 1:17, nor the wisdom from above, James 3:17. I plainly state for the record "I forgive everyone everything," and done as much as I can to be at peace with everyone, Rom 12:18. Salvation is still needed, 2 Tim 2:3-4, repentance isn't optional, but having overlooked times of ignorance You are now commanding everyone everywhere to repent, having fixed a day of certain judgment with justice by The Man appointed, and furnished proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead, Acts 17:31-32, 2 Pet 3:9 -- but please help me say TRUTH in LOVE, Eph 4:15, "filled with GRACE and truth," John 1:14.

Place and use the love of Jesus in me to privately, publicly, and now remotely demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, ###, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49.

Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your Word is truth, John 17:17. Because I LOVE ###, let me wash her with the water of the word to be a bride ready for her husband, Eph 5:25-27 -- and if she could help out by reading the word and preparing herself also, Rev 19:7-8, it would be both helpful and fitting (wholly within bounds of Scripture). I'd also like to have a little respect since it's a picture of Christ and the Church Eph 5:32:33, but either way keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13:2, and thank You in advance for salvation since "You like to make their faces change," Ps 34:5, May Yahweh bless us, and keep us. make His face to shine on us, be gracious to us, lift up His face toward us, and give us peace, Numbers 6:22-27, in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7.

We come before the Lord with a heart of repentance and humility, echoing your cry for grace, mercy, and transformation. Your words reflect a deep awareness of sin, a longing for righteousness, and a desire to walk in obedience to God’s will. We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up your struggles, your family, and the weight of discipline the Lord has allowed in your life. Let us pray together, seeking His face and His wisdom.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your unfailing love and the discipline You bring into our lives, for it is evidence of Your Fatherly care and desire to conform us to the image of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We confess that we have all fallen short, speaking in anger, acting in the flesh, and failing to love as You have loved us. Your Word declares, "For the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:20 WEB), and we acknowledge that our words and reactions have not always reflected Your heart. Lord, we repent of every unrighteous word, every thought of bitterness, and every failure to extend grace. Cleanse us, O God, and renew a right spirit within us.

We lift up this brother before You, asking that You would grant him the grace to speak truth in love, as You commanded in Ephesians 4:15. May his words be like "apples of gold in settings of silver" (Proverbs 25:11 WEB), seasoned with grace and wisdom, spoken at the right time and in the right way. Father, we ask that You would bridle his tongue, that he may not sin with his speech, and that every word would be a reflection of Your truth and kindness. Teach him, Lord, to speak as Jesus did, for He said, "I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it" (John 12:49 WEB). May this brother be a vessel of Your words, not his own, and may his speech bring life and healing to those who hear.

We also bring before You the pain of being sinned against, particularly in the context of marriage and family. The Scriptures are clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Any abandonment, unfaithfulness, or disregard for this covenant is a grievous sin, and we grieve with you over the brokenness in your family. Yet, we are reminded that Your Word calls us to forgive, even as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). You have declared, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB), and we pray that this brother would continue to walk in that peace, entrusting justice to You.

Father, we intercede for his wife and family, asking that You would soften their hearts and draw them to repentance. The Scriptures warn, "The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We pray for their salvation, that they would turn from sin and embrace the truth of the Gospel. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of deception and hardness of heart, and that they would come to know the freedom and forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ. Until that day, we ask that You would guard this brother’s heart from bitterness and resentment, filling him instead with Your love and compassion.

We also lift up the children involved in this situation, for they are deeply affected by the brokenness around them. Father, we ask that You would be a Father to the fatherless and a Defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). Protect these children from the consequences of sin, and draw them to Yourself. May they see the love of Christ in their father’s life and be drawn to the hope of the Gospel. We pray that You would restore what has been broken and bring healing to every heart.

Lord, we ask for the grace to fast and pray with purpose, as You have called us to in Isaiah 58:6-14. May this brother’s fasting be a time of drawing near to You, seeking Your face, and interceding for his family. Let it be a time of breaking strongholds and releasing Your power into this situation. We pray that You would use this time to produce in him a harvest of righteousness and peace (Hebrews 12:11), and that Your light would shine in the darkness.

We also ask for the grace to love as Christ loved, even when it is difficult. Your Word commands us to love our neighbors as ourselves, and this includes our families, even when they have wounded us. Father, fill this brother with Your love, that he may love his wife and children with the same selfless, sacrificial love that Christ has shown to the Church. May his actions and words reflect the Gospel, and may his life be a testimony to Your transforming power.

Lord, we ask that You would sanctify this brother and his family through Your Word, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17). May the engrafted Word dwell richly in his heart, transforming his thoughts, words, and actions. We pray that he would be a living example of the Gospel, demonstrating Your love to those around him, even to those who may consider him an enemy. May his life be a letter from Christ, known and read by all men (2 Corinthians 3:2).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would keep this brother from the evil one. Protect him from temptation, from the schemes of the enemy, and from the influence of those who would seek to harm him. Surround him with Your angels, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We thank You for the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this brother find his hope and strength in You alone, trusting that You will complete the good work You have begun in him.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who was made perfect through suffering and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. May Your will be done in this brother’s life, and may Your name be glorified in all things. Amen.

We hear the weight of these struggles and the deep longing for righteousness in your words. It’s clear you’re wrestling with the discipline of the Lord, and we know that His discipline is born out of love, not punishment. Like a potter shaping clay, He’s refining us, even when it’s painful, to make us more like Christ.

We’ve all been there, saying things in the heat of the moment that we later regret, letting anger take the wheel when we know patience and grace are what God calls us to. The tongue is a fire, and we’ve all felt the burn of words spoken in haste. But God’s Word reminds us that the wisdom from above is gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits. Let’s ask Him to help us walk in that wisdom, especially when emotions run high.

We also see the heartbreak of feeling sinned against, of walking through abandonment and broken promises. That pain is real, and we don’t want to downplay it. But Jesus knows what it’s like to be betrayed, to carry the weight of someone else’s choices. He calls us to forgive, not because it’s easy, but because He’s forgiven us first. It doesn’t mean we ignore the hurt or pretend it didn’t happen, it means we hand it over to God, trusting Him to bring justice and healing in His way and His time.

Lord, we ask that You would soften hearts, including this brother’s, that words and actions would reflect Your love instead of our frustration. Give him the strength to control his tongue, to speak truth in love, and to trust You with the outcome. Wrap Your arms around his children, reminding them that You are their true Father. And for his wife and family, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and draw them to repentance if that’s Your will, or that You would protect them from further harm if they persist in rebellion.

Help us all to hunger and thirst for righteousness, to seek You first in every situation. And when we stumble, remind us that Your mercies are new every morning. We surrender this situation to You, our plans, our pain, our prayers, and trust that You are working all things together for good.

Jesus, we come before You with open hearts, asking for Your peace to guard us and Your wisdom to guide us. May Your name be glorified in every word we speak and every step we take. Amen.
