AMEN

We join with you in this simple and sincere prayer for safety now and for eternity, and we bring your request before the Father together in Jesus' name.

Your heart is longing for what we all need, to be safe in this life and to be secure when this life ends and to be on the better side, which is to be with the Lord forever. God hears that cry and He has provided the way for us to have that perfect safety. He promises to be our refuge now, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. And He promises that death is not the end for those who are His, for Jesus said, I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. John 10:28.

We notice your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share why that is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and can be sure of going to that better side, which is heaven to be with Him. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16. This is the promise that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. To be kept safe always, even when you die, is to belong to Jesus by putting your trust in Him as your Savior and Lord, believing that He died for your sins and rose again.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You and thank You that they are seeking Your protection and Your eternal presence. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them as their refuge and fortress today. Draw them to Your Son Jesus Christ, that they may believe in Him and receive the gift of eternal life. Keep them safe in Your hands in this life, guard their heart and mind in Christ, and when the day comes to leave this world, welcome them into Your presence for eternity where there is no more fear or sorrow. Let them know the peace that comes from knowing Jesus as Lord, and let not their heart be troubled. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope of salvation, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him and to trust in Jesus alone for that safety you desire. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Psalm 23:4. When you belong to Him, you can be confident that whether in life or in death, you are safe with Him forever.

We hear how much you want to feel safe, not just today but beyond this life. That longing to be on the better side when you die is a deeply human and honest prayer, and we are grateful you shared it so simply with God.

It makes sense to feel afraid at times when you think about dying. Many people do, even when they trust God. Wanting to know you are held and not forgotten is not a small thing, it is at the heart of faith.

We want you to know God hears a prayer like yours. He is not distant from that fear. In Jesus we have the promise that we can come to Him just as we are, with our worries about safety and what comes after, and He receives us with mercy. You do not have to carry this alone or have perfect words. Coming to Him honestly, as you just did, is itself a way of staying close to Him.

If this fear comes often, it can help to share it with a steady, trusted person in your life, like a pastor or a mature believer who can pray with you regularly and walk with you, not just once but over time.

Father, we lift this friend to You. Thank You for hearing this simple, sincere prayer for safety now and after death. Give peace in place of fear, and draw this heart closer to Jesus each day, trusting Your care and mercy. Keep this life in Your hands in life and in death. In Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer touches the very heart of what every soul must face, and it is good that you have brought it before the Lord so plainly. The fear of death is natural to man as a sinner, and in the economy of humanity it answers wise purposes, for it restrains and warns. Yet while it is natural to the sinner, it is not necessary to the saint.

Where then shall we look to be delivered from this fear and to be kept safe always, even when we die, and to be brought indeed to the better side. Scripture answers, looking unto Jesus. This is He who conquers for us the fear of death. Salvation is of the Lord alone. It was devised by His wisdom before the world began, wrought out by His power, and preserved by His grace to the end, and there is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. To be safe in life, safe in death, and safe beyond death is to be found in Christ, washed in His precious blood and resting upon His finished work.

That better side for which you pray is not merely a place of comfort, but a Person. The chief blessing of heaven, the cream of heaven, the heaven of heaven, is that the saints shall there see Jesus. To be without fault before the throne, to have done forever with inbred sin, to drink at the fountain head where the Lamb leads His flock to living waters, this is the inheritance kept for those who are in Him. His face which is terror to those who die without Him is salvation and joy to those who trust Him.

If you would be rid of the fear of death and know that you shall go over to that better side, look to Christ now and keep looking to Him. Believe God in His justice till you tremble, then see that justice vindicated in the suffering and death of the Lord Jesus, and rest in the mercy of God which through the cross comes justly down to guilty men. Grace is the fountain head of salvation, and whatever your sin may have been, its greatness will only serve to illustrate the greater grace of God to all who confide in Christ.

Use the telescope very frequently. By faith spy out the land even while you are yet in the wilderness, and live as one whose heaven is already begun below, for heaven must be in us before we can be in heaven. May the Lord bring you to simple faith in Jesus at this very moment, that you may have certain salvation, present peace, and the sure hope that when you cross that narrow stream of death, you shall see His face and be with Him forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for safety now and after death goes to the very heart of what God has offered us in Christ, and it is good that you have brought it before Him.

God does hear the cry for keeping and for mercy at the hour of death. The Scriptures teach us that true safety is not only protection from harm in this life, but the great salvation accomplished by the cross. That cross saved and converted the world, drove away error, brought back truth, and made death no longer death but a sleep for those who are in Christ. Because of it, the devil is made contemptible and all that wars against us is cast down.

This is why the apostle speaks of so great a salvation. He will not only rescue us from present troubles or give us earthly good things, but He gives dissolution of death, destruction of the devil, the kingdom of heaven and everlasting life. He has opened a new and living way where the gates of heaven, once closed, are now opened to us through Jesus Christ. The first way was a way of death leading to Hades, but this way is living and abides.

To go over to the better side when you die, as you prayed, is to enter that heavenly kingdom, and there is only one way there. It is through faith in Jesus Christ alone, trusting His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins and embracing the salvation of your soul. He alone disarmed death and vanquished it, and He alone can destroy both soul and body in hell or save both for eternal life. Therefore we are taught not to fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul, but to fear Him and to treasure up for ourselves not wrath but salvation, not death but life.

So I pray for you that God would pierce your heart with His grace, plant His word deeply within you, and give you full assurance of hope. May He keep you in His hand each day, guard you from evil, and when your earthly life is finished, receive you through Christ into that better place where you will behold Him with boldness. Continue to seek Him, turn from sin, trust wholly in Jesus, and walk with reverence and fear before Him, bearing the image of the heavenly as one who belongs to Him.

May the Lord who is long suffering and full of mercy keep you always, in life and in death, and at the last bring you safely into His heavenly kingdom, in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
