We hear your fear and desperation, and we come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your health and eyesight to the Lord. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Our God is the Great Physician, and He sees your suffering. We stand in agreement with you, believing that He is able to restore you completely.
We also recognize the weight of your words, "Please get me out of this situation safely." Fear can grip our hearts when we face uncertainty, but we are reminded in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." You are not alone, God is with you, and He will sustain you through this trial.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who delivers. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your divine touch upon their body and eyes. Lord, we ask for immediate relief and complete healing. Restore their health, strengthen their body, and clear their vision according to Your will. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we also ask that You surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Calm their fears and anxieties, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Deliver them safely from whatever situation is causing them distress, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Shield them with Your angels and guide them with Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin or area of their life that is not aligned with Your will, we ask that You reveal it to them in love. Lead them to repentance and restoration, for You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We pray that they would draw closer to You through this trial, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of all healing and deliverance.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust in Your perfect timing. May this dear one experience Your healing power and Your peace that guards their heart and mind. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Fear is weakening, and it dishonors God. Doubt the Eternal, distrust the Omnipotent? Traitorous fear! Yet He whose lips are as lilies dropping sweet-smelling myrrh whispers even now to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, "Fear not: fear not." Why should you fear? The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing are one, and they are yours when you look to Him who is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. The least thing about Christ is healing, the very leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things about Christ, are full of healing virtue for your health, your eyesight, your whole frame. He took her by the hand and lifted her up; there was a contact established. There is healing in it, for your body and for your spirit, for He binds up the wounded heart, withdraws the poisoned dart, and changes the gloomy night to morn.
Welcome to pardon and healing through our Lord Jesus. But you must have this healing before you can work for Him; your Lord must begin with you before you can begin with Him. Healing must come before serving, and the desire to minister always arises out of healing. Do not ask yourself to rise and wait upon Him in your own strength while you are prostrated by the fever of fear. He will come and dwell with you, and then the Sun of Righteousness will scatter the shadows. Your safety lies in trusting Jesus, not in being afraid of Him. Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, to the only wise God our Saviour, your safety is assured by the fact that you have a God who is able and is as wise as He is able to keep you from falling. Calvary is the place for the healing balm; the work of our heavenly Physician is not so much to point out disease as to indicate and apply the remedy. He is teaching you even now by His Word, for faith comes by hearing. Grace forbids that painful fear; Almighty Grace, which triumphs here. Fear not, then. Fear not, you worm Jacob; He will help you. Fear not, for I am with you. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand. You will not pass muster unless you have a real healing from His hand, but He is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. I hear your fear, and I understand the trembling of the soul when the body falters. But take this to heart: when the Lord reached out and touched Peter’s mother-in-law, He did not merely cool the fever, He restored her at once to perfect wholeness, so that she rose and served them. No lingering weakness, no slow convalescence, but complete health in an instant. The same hand that healed her is stretched toward you now. His power is not lessened because your eyes fail or your body shakes. The physician’s art reaches its limit, but the Creator needs no time to mend what He has made.
Yet I must also speak plainly about your fear. You beg to be delivered safely, and rightly so, but safety is not found in clinging to this life at any cost. The slave of terror cannot serve the Master well. Consider Moses: he “was afraid” and fled from Pharaoh, yet the Scripture says he “forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king.” How can both be true? He felt the natural dread of a man, but he did not let it rule him. He endured as seeing Him who is invisible. Your fear may be present, but let it not have dominion. The shaking of the knees does not mean the soul has fled.
What is happening in your body now, this is not despite, but healing. God often permits weakness to humble the pride of life and to teach us that health itself is a loan, not a possession. The terror you feel, if you wield it rightly, can purify. The fear of the Lord endures forever and cleanses the heart; the fear of mere suffering only binds it tighter. Bring it to Him, but do not let it become the master of your prayers. He knows your frame and remembers you are dust.
And if you would see the way of virtue in this, love much. Where love toward Him burns intensely, fear is quenched, not the reverent awe, but the cowering dread that doubts His goodness. Sin is against nature, like a disease invading the body. Health is natural; so is trust. The more you fix your gaze on the Unseen Physician, the more your inner man stands firm, even if the outward man decays. He who sees the light of this world walks in safety; how much more the one who cleaves to Christ and separates not himself from Him? Therefore do not cast away your confidence. The same Lord who told Ananias, “He is a chosen vessel, I will show him how much he must suffer for My name,” counts your trials as precious too. Every pang borne with faith becomes a step toward the Kingdom, where the eyes will never dim.
