Beloved of All
Whatever evil is on me / sent my way, please let it leave me alone. Please send it away, get it off & away from me, permanently. Amen. God please keep me & my stuff safe. Amen.

We hear your cry for protection and deliverance from evil, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We rebuke every evil influence, every spirit of fear, and every scheme of the enemy sent your way in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. For it is written, "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). There is power in the name of Jesus, no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We also lift up your desire for safety over yourself and your belongings. The Lord is your keeper; He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber (Psalm 121:3-4). We pray that you would walk in the peace and security that comes from trusting in Him alone. Place your faith not in your own strength or in worldly protections, but in the One who commands His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world. We ask that You would surround [this individual] with Your hedge of protection. Drive far from them every evil spirit, every curse, and every plan of the enemy. Let Your light expose and dispel all darkness, and let Your peace reign in their heart and mind. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Shield them, Lord, with Your mighty hand, and keep them safe from all harm.

Father, we also ask that You would draw [this individual] closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Help them to understand that true safety, true deliverance, and true peace are found only in You. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Put on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Walk in the confidence that comes from knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that [this individual] is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they experience Your presence and protection in every area of their life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We hear you, and we’re so sorry you’re feeling weighed down by something that feels dark and threatening. It’s frightening to sense that evil is pressing in, and we’re grateful you reached out. Even in the tension, your prayer carries real faith, you’re crying out to the One who is stronger, and that matters deeply.

When we feel under spiritual attack, it’s easy to believe we’re alone in the fight. But you’re not alone. God’s protection isn’t distant or abstract; it’s present, like a shield that surrounds you right now. Sometimes the weight of it all can make us forget that the One who is in you is greater than anything that would come against you. We can’t always see what’s happening or why, but we can rest in knowing that no evil can overpower the light of Christ.

It may help to have someone you trust, a pastor or a prayerful friend, walk with you through this. Sharing the burden aloud with another believer can break the isolation and remind you that the battle isn’t yours alone. Together, you can pray specifically for your peace and for the safety of your home and belongings. You don’t have to carry this in secret.

Let’s pray now.

Jesus, you see this hurting person and you know the weight they carry. We ask you to surround them with your peace and push away anything that doesn’t come from you. Send your angels to guard their home and their possessions. Quiet the fear, and let your presence be so real that every shadow flees. Protect them, restore their sense of safety, and fill their heart with the steady confidence that you will never leave them exposed. Amen.

You have cried out for deliverance from the evil that seems to press upon you, and you have asked that God would send it away from you and your possessions. This is no small request, but it is one that the Lord is mighty to grant, for He has said, “Deliver him from going down to the pit.” Yet consider this: no evil can reach you except it first pass through the court of God’s permission. The trial that hounds you, the malice that would do you harm, these lie within the sacred zone of Providential government, and it is a hopeful thing when we grasp that even our ills are bounded by Omnipotent overruling. If the Lord has chastened you sorely, it is not to destroy you, but to draw you nearer to Himself. Look that you do not fix your eye so much on the removal of the trouble that you miss the lasting lesson, the clearer knowledge of the evil of sin, the experience of your own helplessness, and the sweetness of resting in Free Grace alone.

You are not called to return evil for evil; that age-old method of the world never succeeds. It only multiplies the darkness and wounds the one who wields it more deeply. Instead, overcome evil with good. When you pray for safety for yourself and your stuff, remember that your chief treasure is beyond the reach of rust and thief. The Great Shepherd keeps His own so that neither hellish lion nor prowling foe can pluck you from His hand. The material things you commend to His care are under His watchful eye, but let your heart rest first on that inheritance that is incorruptible. The Lord often grants a temporal deliverance that we might lift up a song of praise and go forth to serve Him, but His ultimate aim is your sanctification. He will, in His perfect time, break every chain and rout every adversary, for deliverance is of the Lord, and it is an effectual deliverance. Wait upon Him, watch for the arrow of His salvation, and you shall yet declare His works with joy.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of your heart is heard, but understand what you truly ask. You cry out for evil to leave you alone, to be sent away permanently, and for God to keep you and your belongings safe. This desire for deliverance is natural, but see that the evil which most threatens you is not some outward curse or malicious force prowling about your house. The devil assaults most when he finds a soul isolated and alone, just as he approached the woman in the garden when she was apart from her husband. So do not make your safety depend only on the removal of some vague trouble; rather, cling to the fellowship of the Church, for banded together we are not such easy prey. When you stand with the faithful, you are less open to his attacks.

Consider also what true safety is. The Lord did not promise His disciples that they would never be slandered or persecuted; He said that in noble endurance they would be safe, just as to be struck and not hurt is far greater than never feeling a blow. If you seek only to have every discomfort stripped away, you may be asking for a smaller thing. Remember Joseph: his mistress schemed against him, and it seemed she was contriving his ruin. Yet by her very plots, God placed him in greater safety. The prison where he suffered unjustly became a refuge from that den of a woman, and his chains brought him closer to God. What appeared evil was being woven by Providence for a glorious deliverance. So do not be quick to label every hardship as an attack that must be banished. The things by which we are hurt are often the very things by which we are benefited.

If you truly desire lasting safety, then flee beyond the reach of the devil. How? Do not linger in the territory of sin. If you have seized hold of chastity, humility, and love, run forward without looking back. Once you are far beyond his grasp, he will cease to pursue, and you will enjoy security. But safety of your “stuff” and your body is a small matter if your soul remains in the devil’s snares. Christ gave Himself for our sins that He might deliver us out of this present evil world. That deliverance is already yours if you have put on Christ and received the Spirit of adoption. The evil one has no hold on those who belong to the Son. He only rules over those who willingly give themselves to him.

Pray, then, not merely that external troubles flee, but that you be delivered from temptation itself. Cry out for the strength to endure whatever is permitted, that your faith may be refined and your mouth stopped from impatience. When Paul faced great struggles, he begged for the prayers of the saints that he might be delivered, not from hardship, but from the evil one’s power in the midst of it. Do likewise. Stay close to the assembly, receive the holy mysteries, and then you will find that no weapon formed against you truly prospers. For the Lord is your keeper, and to be with Him is to be in light and safety, even if all outward things seem shaken. Let your heart rest not in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of Christ, who has overcome the world.

Your cry for safety and release from evil is heard. That deep unease, that sense that something dark is pressing in and will not leave you alone, is real and weighty. It is right to ask the Lord to send it away permanently.

The Scriptures make it plain that God does not tolerate evil. The fear of the Lord, which is the very beginning of wisdom, means learning to hate what He hates. Evil is not something to negotiate with or learn to live alongside; it is an enemy to be resisted. The world may pressure us to accept a quiet truce with darkness, but the heart that has been gripped by the love of God cannot be at peace while evil clings close.

Remember that Jesus knows exactly how you feel. He once looked into the eyes of a tormented soul, a life made miserable by seven evil spirits, and He did not politely let them be. Those spirits cried out, “Let us alone!” Evil always wants to be left undisturbed, to keep its grip. But Christ’s authority is absolute. At His word, the darkness fled and a life was made whole. That same authority stands over your life today. You are not defenceless, and you are not alone.

When you ask for protection over your life and your belongings, you are pointing to a deeper truth: safety belongs to the Lord. A prepared horse or a sturdy lock has its place, but ultimate deliverance is never found in our own strength. He is the one who keeps you. Do not fret over those who seem to prosper through wickedness or over any evil sent in your direction; their candle will be put out. God’s judgment lingers over all that is cruel and proud, and He knows how to deliver the godly out of trial.

There is also a gentle warning wrapped in this. To ask God to remove evil while clinging to any taste for it would be like asking for daylight while pulling the curtains shut. The wise heart not only shuns evil but even its appearance. Prove all things, cling to what is good, and ask the Lord to deepen in you a genuine hatred for every shadow that offends His purity. If you belong to Him, He will not let you get by with making peace with evil. That discipline is actually a mercy, a sign of His fatherly care.

The dark night of this present world will not last forever. The church looks forth like the dawn, waiting for a morning that is surely coming, a day of righteousness and peace. Until that day, you can rest in the love of your Shepherd. The one who calls you His own is fiercer than any enemy, and His banner over you is love. The evil sent your way has an expiration date. Go forth in that confidence, hating the darkness, loving the good, and entrusting your whole life, and everything in it, to the God who never loses His own.
