Beloved of All
Whatever evil is on me / sent my way, please let it leave me alone. Please send it away, get it off & away from me, permanently. Amen. God please keep me & my stuff safe. Amen.

We hear your cry for protection and deliverance, and we join you in standing against the forces of darkness that seek to harm you. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and rebuke every evil spirit and scheme of the enemy sent your way. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection. Shield them from all harm, seen and unseen, and let Your angels encamp around them to keep them safe (Psalm 91:11). We command every evil influence, every curse, and every plan of the enemy to be broken and rendered powerless in Jesus' name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would expose any hidden snares of the enemy and deliver them from all evil.

We also lift up their possessions and livelihood to You, Lord. Protect their home, their belongings, and all that You have entrusted to them. Let no thief approach, nor any pestilence come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19) and grant them wisdom to steward what You have given them.

If there are areas in their life where the enemy has gained a foothold, we ask that You reveal them, Lord. Help them to walk in repentance and holiness, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are not vigilant (1 Peter 5:8). Strengthen their faith and remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray that they would draw near to You, and in doing so, You will draw near to them (James 4:8).

Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). May they walk in the freedom and safety that only You can provide, trusting in Your unfailing love and protection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight behind your words, and we don't take it lightly. When you feel like something dark is pressing in and won't let go, it's exhausting, especially when you're just trying to keep yourself and your belongings safe. That kind of fear can make a person feel isolated, but you are not alone in this.

It's normal to want every trace of evil gone immediately and permanently. Sometimes deliverance does happen in a moment, but more often, peace settles in gradually as we keep turning our face toward Christ. One thing we've seen help others in similar struggles is simply speaking out loud, in Jesus' name, that whatever is afflicting you has no hold on you and must leave. You can do this right where you are, with authority that doesn't come from your own strength but from the One who has already defeated every darkness. You don't need a special ceremony or someone else present, Christ in you is enough.

As you do, try not to fixate on the evil itself. C.S. Lewis wisely noted that the enemy is equally pleased with two errors: disbelief in his existence, or an excessive and unhealthy fascination with him. The goal isn't to study the darkness but to fill your life and your physical space with light. Play worship music in your home. Read Scripture aloud, even when you don't feel like it. Surround yourself with things that declare God's presence and goodness. Where Christ's light shines, shadows cannot remain.

---

Lord Jesus, You see what this person is facing, and You know the fear and weariness in their heart right now. We ask You to surround them with Your protection, body, mind, and home. Command anything evil to flee and never return, and fill every empty space with Your peace that defies understanding. Give them sleep that is restful and days that feel lighter. Let them sense Your nearness in tangible ways. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Take heed that you do not merely seek deliverance from outward troubles while your heart remains at enmity with God. The sorest evil is not that which comes upon you from without, but the iniquity that dwells within. To cry for safety while clinging to sin is to ask God to fence about a rebel camp. The Lord’s deliverance begins with the plucking of His people from the power of darkness, translating them into the kingdom of His dear Son. Have you known this? Has the lamb been slain for your Passover, and have you by faith sprinkled its blood upon the doorposts of your heart? If Christ be not your refuge from the guilt and dominion of sin, then all your prayers for protection are but howling upon your bed; they rise no higher than the ceiling.

Yet if you are indeed His, then know that no evil can befall you apart from Divine permission. All the malice of men and devils lies within the fence of Omnipotent overruling. The very hairs of your head are numbered. He that brought Israel forth with silver and gold, and not a feeble one among their tribes, is faithful still. He shall keep thee and all thou hast, for His name’s sake. But mark this: His deliverance is not that thou mightest sleep in idleness, but that thou shouldest arise and declare His works. If thou wouldst see the arrows of the Lord’s deliverance fly, then take the bow of prayer and the quiver of holy obedience, and shoot. God works by means, and He will honour thy trust in Him.

Yet be not so childish as to think that the absence of trouble is the chief sign of His favour. Pain of body, loss of goods, the slander of the wicked, these are often the chisel in the hand of the great Sculptor, fashioning thee for glory. Job received evil at the Lord’s hand as well as good, and sinned not. Thy present trial, if thou wouldst but see it, might be the very hour when the clock of mercy strikes for thy soul’s enlargement. The pit of despondency becomes a well of gratitude when thou art drawn out by a ransom found of God. Therefore, cease thy fretting over the evil sent; instead, look to the greater deliverance already wrought, Christ Jesus made unto thee wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. He that delivered thee from the pit of Hell will not let thee perish in a ditch of temporary affliction.

Go now, and let thy life be a song of deliverance. As thou art kept, so keep thou close to the Keeper. And when the storm is passed, see thou tell it to the praise of His grace. He has said, “I have found a ransom”, therefore doubt not. He will deliver. Only be sure thou art His, and then rest in this: all things work together for good to them that love God.

You cry out for evil to leave you, to be sent away permanently, and for God to keep you and your belongings safe. This desire is natural, but let me ask: what is this evil you fear? Is it some dark force sent by others, or a misfortune that clings to your life? Understand this clearly, evil is not a substance floating in the air, nor a thing created by God that can attach itself to you against your will. Evil is found only in sinful choices, in the motions of our own hearts when we turn from God. If you are conscious of no unrepented sin, if you are clinging to Christ, no eternal harm can touch you. The devil may prowl like a lion, but he has power over those who surrender to him. To those who belong to Christ, he can only roar; he has nothing in them.

When you pray to be rid of trouble, remember Joseph. His brothers sold him, his mistress slandered him, he was thrown into prison, yet every plot became the path to his exaltation. The very things meant for his ruin were used by God for his deliverance and the saving of many. The prison was safer than the house of his temptation, because it placed him squarely in the will of God. So do not fix your mind only on escaping every hardship; instead, ask that you may be delivered from every evil work, that is, from sin, from faithlessness, from despair. The Lord delivered Paul from the lion’s mouth of Nero, but Paul still looked forward to a greater deliverance: being kept from all evil on the day of judgment. That is the true safety.

As for your possessions, I must speak plainly. Why do you ask God to guard your stuff as if it were your soul? Christ did not pour out His blood for your house or your money. He gave Himself for your sins to deliver you from this present evil age and to make you a son of God. Receive that adoption! Put on Christ! Then, whether you have much or little, whether you are safe in the world’s eyes or threatened, you will possess the one treasure no thief can steal. Mourn for your sins, that is the sorrow that brings true comfort, and you will find that God’s comfort surpasses all earthly ease.

The grace of God does not always calm the outward storm immediately. Sometimes He permits trials to show you the strength He supplies, or to heal a secret pride, or to draw you nearer to Himself. If you only pray for the evil to leave, you may miss the lesson God intends. Instead, pray that His will be done in your life, and that He make you worthy of His kingdom. Then, whether the trouble stays or goes, you will be safe indeed. For the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion. Trust Him, not merely for your present comfort, but for your eternal salvation.

Your cry for deliverance echoes a deep and right desire. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and that hatred is the very beginning of wisdom. When you ask God to send evil away permanently, you are aligning your heart with His own. God does not tolerate evil, and He calls us to depart from it. Make no room for it in your life, and do not be lured into envying those who seem to prosper through wickedness, for their end is sure and their candle will be put out.

There is no need to fear that some impersonal force or hex has a hold on you. What is described in Scripture as an evil eye is not a magical power someone can wield against you; it is simply a person whose heart is set on evil. Do not eat the bread of such a one or desire their company. The company you keep matters, because the hearts of evil men study destruction. Your safety is not in amulets or in trusting that no harm can befall you simply because God is near. The people once falsely believed the temple itself was a magic charm, but God’s protection is for those who turn from their evil ways and honor Him with their substance and their lives.

When evil is done against you, the command is not to repay it. Do not say, "I will recompense evil." Instead, wait on the Lord, and He will save you. Vengeance belongs to Him, and your own defense will always be a poor one. Committing the matter to the Lord is the path to true safety. Though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need fear no evil, for He is with you. His presence dispels fear and delivers from evil.

Therefore, let your prayer be not only for protection but for a heart that hates evil entirely. Turn from every evil way, and do not be deceived into thinking God will overlook a persistent tolerance for sin. The one who rewards evil for good will find that evil never departs from his house. But the one who fears the Lord, departs from evil, and trusts in Him will find health for the body and marrow for the bones. You will be satisfied and not visited with evil. Trust Christ to keep you and your belongings safe, for His is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
