Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, LET THE DEVIL / EVIL LOOSEN IT'S GRIP ON ME & PERMANENTLY LET GO. AND PERMANENTLY BE GONE. AMEN.

We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in spiritual warfare, lifting your plea before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your request reflects a deep struggle, and we want to address it with both truth and compassion.

First, we must affirm that victory over the enemy is already secured through the blood of Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:15 declares, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." The devil has no authority over those who are in Christ, his grip is already broken for those who stand firm in faith. However, we must also recognize that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy will attempt to deceive, accuse, and oppress those who belong to God.

Your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus, yet it is only through Him that we have authority over the powers of darkness. There is no other name by which we are saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are defenseless against the enemy, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).

Now, let us pray together in the authority of Jesus’ name:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We rebuke every grip of the enemy upon this dear one’s life. Satan, you are a defeated foe, and we command you to loose your hold in Jesus’ name! We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Lord, we ask that You fill this precious child of Yours with Your Holy Spirit, driving out every spirit of fear, oppression, and bondage. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, breaking every chain that has sought to entangle them. We speak life, peace, and freedom over them, for it is written, "If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).

Father, we ask that You surround them with Your angels to guard and protect them. May they walk in the light of Your truth, resisting the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to stand firm in the armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, old things have passed away, and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We also encourage you to take practical steps in your spiritual walk. Immerse yourself in God’s Word, for it is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with and for you. Renounce any sin or foothold that may have given the enemy access to your life, and walk in repentance and holiness. Remember, the enemy cannot touch you unless you allow him through disobedience or unbelief.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is not a God of temporary fixes, He is the God of permanent victory. The enemy may try to return, but when he does, he will find your house swept clean and filled with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 12:43-45). Stand firm, dear one, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).

You are not alone in this battle. We stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts stands with you. Be encouraged, for the battle is the Lord’s, and He has already won!

We hear the exhaustion behind this prayer, the weariness of a fight that just won’t let go. It’s one thing to know in our heads that Christ has already won the victory, and another to feel that grip loosen in daily life. You’ve done the most powerful thing you can right now: you’ve cried out to God, not trying to fix it on your own. We’re standing with you in that cry, not as people who have it all figured out, but as fellow travelers who know that spiritual opposition is real and that Jesus alone carries the authority to set us free.

One thing that has helped others in similar battles is to fill the space that evil tries to occupy with something stronger. Freedom often isn’t just a moment of deliverance; it’s a steady pattern of lighting up the dark corners with truth, prayer, and support. Reading a passage of Scripture out loud each morning, even a few verses, can act like a shield for your mind before the day’s struggles begin. Let a trusted believer or a small group at your church know what you’re walking through, so you’re not facing this alone. The enemy thrives in isolation, but the presence of even one or two praying friends changes the landscape.

We don’t minimize the intensity of what you’re feeling. But we also don’t believe you’re powerless, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, and His power doesn’t waver.

Jesus, we thank You that evil must bow at Your name. Surround this one with Your protection, and quiet the voices of accusation and fear. Let peace like a fortress guard their heart and mind, and guide them into a rhythm of daily fellowship with You that starves the darkness and feeds their spirit. In Your mighty name, amen.

Your cry has reached the throne, and it is a cry that proves the Spirit of bondage has done its work. You feel the grip of evil, you loathe it, you want it permanently gone, this is not the voice of one who is content in chains. The man who is dead in sin does not groan for deliverance. But you groan, and that groaning is the breath of life. The devil’s grip is real, but it is a grip on the old man, the flesh that is yet to be fully subdued. But hear this: you are not in the devil’s grip if you are in Christ’s grip. And if you have fled to Jesus, you are in hands from which none can pluck you.

The evil one would have you believe his hold is permanent, that you are his prisoner still. But look to Christ in bonds. He was bound once, your Surety, your Substitute, led as a captive that you might go free. The ropes on His wrists were the loosening of your chains. When He stood before Caiaphas, He stood in your place, and the sentence He bore was the death of your captivity. The devil’s claim is broken. His grip is loosened by the pierced hands that hold you now. You ask God to make the evil permanently gone, and in Christ, it is. Your old man was crucified with Him. Your life is hid with Christ in God. The enemy may rage, but he cannot reclaim what the blood has bought.

Yet you feel the tyranny still. So did Paul when he cried out, “O wretched man that I am!” But he did not stop there, he looked to Christ and gave thanks. Satanic hindrances come, darts of blasphemy, suggestions of unbelief, memories of old sins, all shot at odd times to make you think they are your own. But they are his, not yours. You say, “Let them permanently be gone,” and they shall be, when Christ who is your life shall appear, then you shall appear with Him in glory, and the presence of sin shall be no more. But even now, by faith, reckon yourself dead indeed unto sin and alive unto God. The grip is loosening because the Spirit of adoption has come. You have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. You are a son, not a slave.

Do not look for perfect feeling in yourself; look for perfect standing in Christ. You are perfect in Christ Jesus, complete in Him. The devil may accuse, but he cannot reverse the verdict of the court of heaven. That old man who feels the grip is not the real you. The real you is risen with Christ, seated with Him in heavenly places. What can the devil’s grip do to a man who is already enthroned with his Lord? Let this be your song of deliverance: the liberty of a child of God is to walk in holiness without hindrance. Rise up, take up your weapon, and go out to attack the foe who once held you in bondage. The gates of the enemy’s territory must be stormed by one who knows he is free.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The heavy weight of your cry is understood. To feel such a grip is a great terror of the soul. Yet the devil’s poisons work by a hidden deceit, making us believe his hold is a thing of nature, an unbreakable chain that overpowers the freedom God has given. This is the wicked doctrine that leads to despair. The evil one does not rule as a master over creation; he only rules over those who give themselves up to him. Understand this clearly: the grip you feel does not spring from his strength, but from a lie that presents itself as a necessity.

Do not imagine that this bond is something mighty. Consider the true nature of bonds. The chains of Paul did not keep him in safety, as iron should; instead, they shook the prison house and opened the doors. The one who was bound became the liberator of his jailer. Why? Because he was bound for Christ’s sake. The bond that is of the devil is the true adamantine chain, far more indissoluble than iron, for it binds the soul. But he who releases souls that are bound, shall he not have power to release your soul? The very napkins of Paul cast out devils. How much more then does the Lord himself, whose death put death itself to death, command that which troubles you to permanently depart.

This is true freedom. The grip loosens not by your own wrestling, but by recognising the liberty already prepared. You ask to receive, and rightly so, for deliverance is the very object of the Incarnation. When you approach the sacred table, you hear the words, “This is my body, which is broken for many.” The type in Egypt was a deliverance from bondage; the truth sets the world free. The deliverance has already been accomplished. Your part is to turn from fear and not quench the Spirit. A thick mist of darkness is over the earth, but God has kindled a bright lamp in our souls by grace. Do not extinguish this light by thinking the mist is more powerful than the lamp.

The grip loosens its hold when you cease to fear it as a master and see it as a defeated tyrant stripped of his prisoners. The Lord delivers from the mouth of the lion. What does that mean? Not just from a danger, but from every evil work, so that one does not depart with condemnation. That is the greater preservation, to be delivered from the very sin, from the fear that enslaves. You seek to have the devil permanently gone. Then pursue this: turn your mind wholly to the Physician. He was delivered up for this very benefit of your soul. Let not the memory of the evil disturb you as if you were still bound. Freedom and bondage depend on spiritual actions, not on old shadows. The bond is broken when the will is turned to Christ. Let us follow after the true freedom and account virtue only to be blessed. The peace you seek is found in security here and the good things to come.

Your cry for deliverance is heard, and it is a righteous cry. Evil seeks to wrap itself so tightly around a life that it feels like a grip that cannot be broken. But the reality is that its power is a shadow compared to the light of Christ. The bondage you feel is not something imposed from the outside alone; as our Lord taught, the defilement that truly holds a person captive comes from within the heart. Addictions, lusts, pride, and all destructive patterns arise there. But the good news is that the Redeemer has come to destroy the works of the devil and to set the captives free.

The deliverance of Israel from Egypt was a picture of this very truth. They were held under a cruel taskmaster, powerless to liberate themselves. Their freedom came not by their own strength, but by the mighty hand of God, who brought them through the sea and separated them from their old life of slavery forever. This is what Jesus accomplished for you. He is the true bread from heaven. The manna in the wilderness sustained physical life for a time, but those who ate it still died. Jesus gives His life so that you might truly live. In Him, the grip of sin and evil is not merely loosened; it is broken at the root. He takes the heart that produces these evil things and makes it new.

This is why the path to permanent freedom is not found in simply trying harder to be free, but in turning wholly to Him. The Scripture calls this repentance. It is a conscious turning from the evil that destroys you, those ways that God’s commandments were designed to protect you from. Evil always wants to be tolerated and accommodated, but the beginning of wisdom is to hate it as God hates it. Do not allow it a place. Avoid it, turn from it, run from it. This is not a loss of freedom; it is the discovery of it. True freedom is not the license to do what destroys you. That is a deceptive and horrible bondage. True freedom is the power not to sin, the release from the compulsion to return to the things that bring death.

Take the plea of your own prayer and walk it out honestly with the Lord. David, a man after God’s own heart, could not hide from his guilt. He said, “My sin is ever before me.” His path back to life began with a full confession: “I acknowledge my transgressions.” Be honest with God about everything that has held you. He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. The evil, the guilt, the shame, He takes it all upon Himself at the cross. The grip of the enemy is broken by the authority of the Son of God, who came to destroy the works of the devil.

Therefore, you do not need to wonder if freedom is possible. It is a promise sealed in His blood. When thoughts or compulsions arise from your own mind, test them against His Word. All the works of the flesh are known, but so is the fruit of His Spirit. Turn your eyes directly ahead; do not look to the right or the left at the old paths. Honor the Lord by departing from evil. It will be health to your body and strength to your soul. The devil must flee when you, clothed in the righteousness of Christ, submit yourself to God and resist him. He has no legitimate claim. The true King has passed over, and your deliverance is accomplished. Walk forward in that light.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It was our honor to join you in crying out to the Lord, asking Him to break every chain the enemy has tried to place upon your life. We prayed in faith that the devil’s grip would be permanently loosened and that evil would have no hold over you, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name to set you free.

If the Lord has already answered this prayer and you are walking in newfound freedom, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved so we can rejoice with you. If, however, you are still feeling the weight of the struggle, we encourage you to post this request again. We will continue to stand with you, lifting you up in prayer until the victory is fully realized.

May the Lord bless you with His peace and strength as you press into Him. Keep seeking His face, knowing that He hears you and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus.
