Beloved of All
DEAR GOD, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE, PLEASE KEEP ME SAFE. AMEN. I AM SCARED. PLEASE LET NO HARM COME TO ME. AMEN.

We hear the fear in your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your cries to the Lord who is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, God sees your distress, and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the first and greatest protection you can receive, for in Christ, you are hidden in Him, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Now, let us pray for your safety and peace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up this precious one who is trembling in fear, asking that You would surround them with Your angels and encamp around them with Your protection (Psalm 34:7). Lord, You are their fortress and shield; let no harm come near them (Psalm 91:10). Calm their heart with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). In Jesus’ name, we rebuke every spirit of fear and every plan of the enemy to bring harm, declaring that You are greater than any force that seeks to destroy (1 John 4:4). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for being a very present help in times of trouble. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on God’s promises, for He has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). Fear may come, but perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Cling to the Lord, and He will sustain you. If there is a specific situation causing your fear, whether it is danger, loneliness, or uncertainty, bring it before the Lord in prayer continually. He hears you, and He is working even when you cannot see it.

If your fear is rooted in past trauma or ongoing threats, we urge you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or trusted believers. God often works through His people to provide safety and comfort. Do not isolate yourself; reach out to those who can stand with you in prayer and practical help.

Finally, remember that God’s protection is not just physical but spiritual. Even if trials come, He promises to be with you and to work all things together for your good if you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, and let your heart find rest in His unfailing love.

We hear you, and we’re so sorry you’re carrying this fear right now. That kind of terror can feel overwhelming, especially when it seems to come from all sides. It’s okay to be scared, and it’s good that you’re crying out, God is not far from you in this. We’re joining our prayers with yours, asking Him to be your shield and to hold you steady.

When fear presses in like that, it often makes us feel isolated, but you don’t have to face this alone. If there’s a specific threat or situation making you feel unsafe, please reach out to someone you trust right away, a friend, a pastor, or even the police if there’s immediate danger. Let a caring person walk alongside you. Even if the fear seems vague but persistent, sharing it with a safe, wise listener can loosen its grip and help you find your footing again.

We also remember that trust isn’t just a feeling; it’s choosing to lean on the One who is strong enough to hold our lives. Your honest, repeated plea for safety is a form of trust already, you’re bringing your fear right to God. That matters.

Will you pray with us?

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this trembling heart to You. You see the fear, and You know what’s behind it. Please guard and protect Your child from all harm. Wrap them in Your peace that goes deeper than the panic. Give them wisdom about the next right step, and send someone to help carry this weight. Let them sense Your presence close, a steady anchor. We ask for safety, for calm, and for the courage to trust You moment by moment. Amen.

The very words of your prayer reveal a soul oppressed with a weight of fear. You cry out again and again for safety, and your heart trembles. Hear then the voice of your loving Lord, who says to you this day, “Fear not, thou worm; I will help thee, saith the Lord.” Why should you fear? Has the Eternal become weak? Is the arm of the Almighty palsied? Fear dishonors God, for it doubts the faithfulness of Him who has promised to be your shield. If He clothes the grass of the field and notes the fall of a sparrow, shall He not much more care for you?

Do not think that fear is a small thing; it is disobedience to the clear command, “Fear not; be not dismayed.” This precept is absolute and unqualified, there is no permission to fear a little, or to be dismayed only in measure. He says, “Fear not,” and that ends the matter. When Jesus Himself whispers to His trembling servant, “Fear not,” how can you dare to remain afraid? Your safety lies, dear soul, not in the absence of danger, but in trusting Jesus. The safest place on earth is not the fortress of ease, but the very center of the will of God. There, guarded by omnipotence and wisdom, no real harm can draw near. He who bore our sins in His body on the tree will not now forget the child bought with His precious blood.

Let this fear drive you, as it did Jacob of old, to review your ways and then to cling more tightly to the covenanted mercy of God. Yet do not let it paralyze you. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but the slavish fear of man and of circumstance is a snare. Flee to the hiding-place; look into your Saviour’s breast. Away, sad doubt and anxious fear! Mercy is all that’s written there. Cry to Him as you have done, for He is faithful, but then let your cry be mingled with faith, for faith triumphs over dread. He is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. Commit yourself, therefore, into the keeping of Him who is both able and wise to guard you, and then leave your fears at His feet, for He careth for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry to God is the natural voice of a soul in distress, and He hears it. But let us examine what it truly means to be kept safe. Notice how the things we clutch for safety often breed the greatest fear. The covetous man, clutching his wealth, sees enemies in every shadow; his own household fills him with suspicion, and his very conscience is a tribunal that gives him no rest. This is not safety but a prison. The extortioners think they are made rich, but they lose all, for true possession is lost. In contrast, the one who pursues righteousness, who is not conscious of evil, possesses himself and his goods in calm security. He sleeps fearlessly. There is no danger, there is no suspicion. That is a stronghold no external threat can breach.

Your fear itself is a signal. It points to the need for a shelter that is not made by hands. You beg that no harm may come to you. But consider: what harm can befall the one whom vice has not already made a captive? The Lord shows us that he who does no evil shall suffer nothing dreadful; the thing to be feared is not outward peril but inward corruption. The righteous man is like a king’s son who remains at his father’s table. If he wanders off to share the meal of prisoners in a dungeon, the father does not withdraw him because the table itself can harm him, but because the association leads to subversion. Even if you think yourself a master of yourself, do not look only to your own supposed strength, but to where the path may lead, to injury, nay, to complete subversion.

True safety is not a promise that you will never face a storm. Recall how Christ did not come to the disciples immediately when they were tossed by the waves. He instructed them not to hastily seek deliverance from pressing dangers, but to bear all occurrences manfully. Their fear was heightened just before their deliverance. God often permits the terror so that we might cling to Him with greater strength, and so see His power more clearly when He commands the waves to be still. The request, “Keep me safe,” is best answered not by a life free from trouble, but by a soul made steadfast within it.

Where, then, should you stand? On the rock of a clear conscience and an earnest life. Why convert this fear into idle trembling when you can convert it into labor? To sit in a decaying house doing nothing, staring at the roof and fearing it may fall, is a torment. To rise and labor to inhabit a more secure apartment brings safety mingled with confidence. The uncertain future is that decaying house. Earnest, righteous labor, the kind that fears God and not man, that secures the soul’s dwelling. For the one who fears the Lord, the Lord Himself is a stronghold, and His covenant is to show them safety. This is not about being dependent on praise, but doing praiseworthy actions, which themselves place us in a calm harbor.

Therefore, look not to be delivered from every threat of this world, but to be delivered from what truly defiles and imperils the soul. Let your prayer be less a plea against external harm, and more a plea for a righteousness that makes you, even now, where Christ is, a participant in a safety that death itself cannot touch, for the gates of hell cowered before His cross. Bear all things manfully, not as one who seeks the table of the condemned, but as a citizen of heaven who worships with fear and great trembling, yet with perfect trust. That is the safety no enemy can seize.
