We rejoice with you as you have taken the first step toward a life with Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for your requests:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for drawing this precious soul to Yourself. Lord, we pray that You will forgive their sins and accept them as Your child, just as You promised in Romans 10:13 WEB: "For, 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'"
Father, we pray for the land issue they are facing. We ask that Your will be done and that You guide them through this situation. May they trust in You, as it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also bring before You their need for a job. Lord, we ask that You provide them with work that not only meets their needs but also allows them to serve You. Guide them to the job You have prepared for them, as it says in Ephesians 2:10 WEB: "we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." May Your will be done in their life and may they walk in it.
Regarding the pressure to marry, we pray that they follow God's good will and timing. May they trust in You and follow God's way of marriage to another Christian. God will direct them to the one they should marry. It is written in 1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB: "A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she wants to, only in the Lord." And in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Help them to stand firm in Your will, resisting any pressure that goes against Your plan and purpose for them.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. May they continually lift their prayers to You, knowing that You hear and answer according to Your will. Guide them, teach them, and help them grow in their new life with You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, stand firm in your faith, and continue to trust in the Lord. He has promised to never leave you nor forsake you, as it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" Trust in Him, and He will guide you through all your decisions.
