Almost awake for ### or ### hrs

Celuireandell

Disciple of Prayer
Pls pray for me. I can’t sleep properly. There are times that I am awake for ### or almost ###. I tried to exercise and drink supplements for sleep but to no avail. 😞 Help me to pray for faith also in God and obedience in Him. Also, restoration and reconciliation of relationships with friends and churchmates. Pls pray that for direction of my life and my brother, ###. May he also have a deep relationship with Jesus and salvation, too. Thank you!

We hear your cry for help in the stillness of the night, and we come before the Lord together, lifting you up in prayer. The weariness of sleeplessness is heavy, and we ask the God of all comfort to grant you the rest your body and soul desperately need. The psalmist writes, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8). We declare this truth over you, may the Lord Himself quiet your mind and still your heart so that you may sleep in His perfect peace.

Your desire for deeper faith and obedience is beautiful, and we rejoice in your hunger for God. The Lord promises, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8). We pray that as you seek Him, He will reveal Himself to you in fresh and powerful ways. May your trust in Him grow stronger, even in the midst of uncertainty, and may your steps align with His will. Let your heart be encouraged by the words of Jesus: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He is your true rest, not just for your body, but for your soul.

We also lift up the restoration and reconciliation of your relationships with friends and churchmates. The enemy seeks to divide and isolate, but God is the God of unity and healing. We pray that the Lord would soften hearts, remove bitterness, and restore what has been broken. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). May you walk in humility, grace, and forgiveness, and may the Lord knit your relationships back together in love.

For the direction of your life and your brother’s, we ask the Lord to make His path clear. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We pray that both you and your brother would surrender your plans to God and follow His leading. May your brother come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and may his heart be opened to the truth of the Gospel. We declare salvation over him, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for our brother and sister in Christ. Lord, we ask that You would grant them the gift of rest, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Quiet their mind and still their heart so that they may sleep in the safety of Your presence. We pray for their faith to grow deeper and their obedience to You to become stronger. May they draw near to You and experience Your nearness in return.

Father, we lift up the relationships that need restoration. Heal what is broken, soften hearts, and bring reconciliation where there has been division. Let Your love and grace flow through them, and may they be a testimony of Your power to restore.

Lord, we ask for clear direction for their lives and for the life of their brother. Guide their steps, open doors that no one can shut, and close doors that are not of You. We pray for their brother’s salvation, may he come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and may his life be transformed by the power of the Gospel.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true rest. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord sees your struggles and hears your prayers. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is working even in the quiet moments of the night. You are not alone, we stand with you in prayer, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Press into God’s promises, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We hear how draining it must be to lie awake for that many hours, night after night. That kind of exhaustion touches everything, your body, your emotions, even your sense of hope. Please know you’re not alone, and we’re honored to carry this with you.

While we pray for God’s peace to settle your mind, it may also be wise to mention this to a doctor. Sometimes our bodies need that kind of practical help, and it isn’t a failure of faith to seek it, it’s stewarding the body God gave you. We’ll ask for wisdom for you (and any professional you might see), and for real relief.

We’re also lifting before the Lord the deeper things you mentioned: your faith and obedience, direction for your life, and the longing for reconciliation with friends and churchmates. Broken relationships can leave a quiet ache that compounds everything else. When the time is right, a small, humble step, a kind word or an honest conversation, can sometimes open a door. But we trust God to guide that timing and to soften hearts, including your own.

And we’re grateful you named your brother. We’ll pray with you for his salvation and for a real, living connection with Jesus.

Father, thank you that even in the sleepless hours, you see us. We ask for the gift of deep, restorative sleep for this person, the kind that renews body and soul. Lead them to the right help, and grant wisdom. Bring healing to strained relationships, and clear direction for life’s next steps. Draw their brother close; open his eyes to the love of Christ. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is no small trial to have your eyes held waking when you long for the refreshment of sleep. Yet even in this the Lord may be teaching you to cast yourself wholly upon Him. All your efforts, exercise, supplements, have failed, that you might learn that the remedy lies not in the creature but in the Creator. Turn this wakeful season into a night of prayer, and your sleeplessness may become a sanctuary.

You plead for faith and obedience, and rightly so, for faith is the fountain, the foundation and the fosterer of obedience. Men will not obey God till they believe Him. We preach faith in order that men may be brought to obedience. The obedience that flows from faith is the obedience of a child, not of a slave; the obedience of love, not of terror. Cry to God to increase your faith, and with that faith will come a willing heart to do all His will. Even if your faith seems small, do not despise it; the least faith in Jesus is true faith, a gift of God, like precious faith though not like strong faith. That little faith obeys the precept and will not go a step without it.

As for the reconciliation of relationships, remember that God has already accomplished the grand reconciliation through Christ, and He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. The God of peace has prepared everything necessary for perfect peace with Himself, and that peace overflows into our dealings with one another. Seek your own soul's full resting in the blood of Jesus, and then go humbly to those with whom you are at variance. Faith working by love will mend much that is broken.

Direction for your life will come as you walk in the path of obedience. The exactness of obedience is the very essence of obedience. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left. The Lord will guide you step by step if you submit every decision to His Word and yield yourself to the indwelling Holy Spirit. Courage will be needed, for to persist in scrupulous obedience throughout life may demand more courage than a martyr's fire, but grace shall be given.

Your brother lies heavy on your heart. Continue to plead for his salvation and a deep relationship with Jesus. The Lord hears the cry of faith. Lay hold upon the promise, and expect that He who bids you pray will answer in His time. Commend him to the ministry of reconciliation, for God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses. Trust that the Spirit can turn his heart to the Saviour.

The Lord Jesus, who met the women on the path of obedience, will meet you also with His all-sufficient grace. May He calm your mind, grant you sleep as His beloved, and make you strong and very courageous to observe to do according to all that He commands.

Your sleeplessness is an affliction, but know that affliction is not without purpose. Whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, working patient endurance in you. You have tried exercise and supplements, but the body remains restless. Do not despair. Consider this trial a school, where you learn obedience to God. As the Son learned obedience through what He suffered, and being made perfect became the author of salvation to all who obey Him, so now He calls you to learn the same lesson. The very wakefulness that plagues you can become a sacred vigil. When sleep flees, do not lie in frustration, but rise and pray. Commend your spirit, your relationships, your ###, into His hands. This is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation.

You seek restoration with friends and churchmates. Do not delay. While you wait for sleep, let your heart first be reconciled to God, and then reach out in humility to those from whom you are estranged. Obedience here is not a light matter. I do not speak to exclude you, but to rouse you, for I long for your salvation. To advance it, I will not soften the truth: if you gain every remedy and yet lose your own soul, what profit is there? But if you lose this present ease for the sake of Christ, you will find true life.

You pray for direction. He who has neither beginning of days nor end of life will guide your steps. He took not hold of angels, but of the seed of Abraham, and through His suffering He has made reconciliation for sins. His life is infinite, and His mercy is for those who obey Him. Use these watchful hours to cry out for direction, not only for yourself, but for your ###. Pray that he, too, may taste that graciousness and lovingkindness of which the disciples heard, that He takes away the sin of the world. Let him not put off his salvation to his latest breath. As the sufferings of Christ abound, so also the comfort. I join my prayers to yours, that you both may be sharers in that comfort, and that your ### may come to know the deep relationship with Jesus for which you long.

Behold, now is the acceptable time. Yield your obedience, and do not think that this affliction is without fruit. It is working in you the patient endurance of the same sufferings which He bore, so that your hope may be steadfast. Stand firm, and you will find that He who did not spare His own Son will, through this dark season, supply an abundant entrance into His salvation.

You are carrying a heavy weight right now, and the sleepless nights only make it heavier. When the body is exhausted but the mind will not stop, it is easy to feel worn thin, even desperate. But there is a promise that runs deeper than physical rest. God has held out to His people a place of genuine rest, the kind that reaches the soul even while the body is still tired. That rest is entered only by faith. It never comes through analyzing every detail of our lives or striving to fix everything ourselves. It comes when we stop trying to manufacture peace and simply believe that Jesus has already accomplished what we need most. He finished the work. We are invited to rest in that.

I understand the temptation to think, "If God would just show me what He is doing, I could settle down." But that is not how this works. If we wait to see the whole plan before we trust, we will never rest. Faith rests without seeing. Faith lays the unsolved problems, the strained relationships, and the unclear future into the hands of a Father who never sleeps and never makes a mistake. Your hours awake could become, in His mercy, quiet hours of turning those very burdens over to Him rather than shouldering them alone.

You asked for prayer regarding faith and obedience, and that is the right place to start. The most genuine prayer is not a list of demands we expect God to rubber-stamp. Real prayer begins with God Himself: His will, His purposes, His glory. As you bring your need for direction, for restored friendships, and for your brother's salvation, let your heart settle into the simple surrender of Christ in the garden: "Not my will, but Yours be done." That is not resignation; it is the doorway to peace. When we release our grip on outcomes and place the people we love into His care, we are finally in a position to receive what only He can give.

The relationships you long to see mended are known to Him. There is nothing too tangled for Him to unwind in His time. Your life's direction may feel foggy right now, but He is not confused. And your brother, what a beautiful thing to bring before the throne of God. The ear of the Lord is open to those who cry out for mercy, whether for themselves or for someone they love. Keep asking. Keep trusting. Keep placing him before the One who is both willing and able to save completely.

I am joining you in prayer for these things, and I am also praying that in the silent watches of the night you would discover what it means to rest on God alone. Not on a solution or a remedy or a settled set of circumstances, but on Him. He is the door to the Father. No true harm can reach you except it pass through His hands first. When sleep remains out of reach, let your soul learn to lie down in the safety of that truth. He hears. He cares. He will bring you into His rest.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our heart to lift you before the Lord, asking Him to bring the deep, restorative sleep your body and spirit need. We have prayed for peace to guard your mind through the night and for the Lord to renew your strength as you wait on Him. If He has already answered this cry of your heart, we would love to hear your praise report—let us rejoice together in His faithfulness.

We have also been interceding for the increase of your faith and obedience, asking God to draw you closer to Himself and to fill you with unwavering trust in His promises. For the relationships with friends and churchmates that need restoration, we have asked the Lord to soften hearts, heal wounds, and guide every conversation toward reconciliation. May His love and grace flow through you as He mends what has been broken.

For the direction of your life and your brother’s, we have sought the Lord’s wisdom and clarity, praying that He would make His path unmistakably clear. We continue to lift your brother before the throne, asking that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in his life, drawing him into a deep and saving relationship with Jesus.

If any of these burdens still weigh heavily on your heart, please share them with us again so we can persist in prayer alongside you. We are here to stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. May He bless you with His presence, comfort, and peace as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
