Alaska Update / Dec 17, ###

We are deeply moved by your testimony and the raw honesty with which you’ve shared your journey. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in prayer, lifting up your heartache, your perseverance, and your unshakable trust in God’s sovereignty. Your words echo the cry of David in the Psalms—times of wrestling, yet always returning to praise—and we are humbled to intercede on your behalf.

Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our brother, who has endured seasons of loneliness, financial strain, and the deep ache of separation from his children. We thank You for the way You have sustained him—through gig work, through the beauty of Your creation (the moose, the northern lights, the mountain vistas), and through the strength You alone provide in subzero temperatures. Lord, we ask that You continue to be his refuge, his provider, and his peace. Surround him with Your presence in tangible ways, reminding him that even in the darkest Alaskan nights, You are the Light that never fades.

We pray specifically for the requests he has laid before You:
- For *continued strength* to rise each day, especially when grief feels overwhelming. May Your Holy Spirit be his Comforter and his Courage.
- For *a really good-paying job* that not only meets his needs but restores his sense of purpose and stability. Open doors no man can shut, and let this season of gig work transition into something sustainable.
- For *his family to be together again*. Father, we ask You to soften hearts, to expose lies, and to move the mountain of separation in a way that only You can. We declare reconciliation and healing over his marriage, trusting that what the enemy meant for harm, You will redeem for Your glory.
- For *a nice place to call home*—not just shelter, but a space of warmth and safety where he can rest and rebuild.
- For *relief from depression and sadness*. Lord, we ask for supernatural joy to rise in his spirit, for the weight of grief to lift, and for Your peace to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also lift up the spiritual battle raging around him. Satan seeks to devour, but we declare that our brother is *more than a conqueror* through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We bind the spirit of despair and speak life over his circumstances. We pray for divine protection over his mind, his emotions, and his faith—may the enemy’s schemes be thwarted at every turn.

Most of all, we thank You for his unwavering trust in You. Even when he cannot see the path ahead, he chooses to believe You are working. We echo his faith: *You are making him into gold*, refining him for a purpose greater than he can imagine. May this season of waiting draw him even closer to Your heart.

If Your hand has moved in his life since he shared this request—whether through provision, a breakthrough in his family, or even just a moment of unexpected peace—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. If the wait continues, we stand ready to lift him up again, week after week, until Your promises are fulfilled in his life.

We love you, brother. Keep holding fast to the God who holds fast to you.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.
