A mountain moving God!

For sometime, I prayed that God would move mountains in my life. I was 100% confident my faith was much larger than the mustard seed. I often pray God would move the mountains of sadness and depression; separation, debt, etc.

On May 21, I begin a career that God gave me. I did not deserve it or earn it; it was the grace of God. God made me a manager in a field that I have never worked in. I now manage 21 people and soon it will be 24. It’s possible within a year, 50 people.

When I think back over my life, I have walked in deep despair and sadness many times. The pain that I have experienced has been overwhelming and the fact that I’m still alive is a miracle in itself.

On August 19, 2024, I moved back to ###. I only had a little money, no car and no place to live. I landed at the airport at 12:15 AM and had nowhere to go. So far, God has made provision again and again and again. None of it has been easy though.

I came to ### to teach school and coach basketball. On November 20, 2024, due to no fault of my own I lost my job at the school. It was so painful, but I remember smiling to myself and thinking and wondering what God was up to.

I have seen the hand of God and I can only wonder what’s next. I love adventure, but I’m so ready for some type of stability. I’m hoping that this new career will give me the stability that I’ve badly needed.

Obviously, living in a van for nearly a month is not stability. Crawling out of the back hoping nobody sees me is not stability. I miss my apartment. But I need something more. Please God …. move the mountain of homelessness or houselessness. I am exhausted!!

I am confident God is going to do something, but his timing is frustrating. I lose hope when a significant day passes by and there’s no contact from my wife or children. I fear that my wife has become so hard hearted and impossible so that reconciliation will never take place..

Tomorrow is Father’s Day. Will she make an effort for the kids to talk to me? Based on the past, the answer will be no. And it saddens me to know that reality. But I hope! I hope that God has been working on her heart so long that maybe tomorrow will be the day. If not, it will be very sad to know.

Today has been my day off and I have been in the van all day. I had to find a shade tree because it’s so hot outside here in ###. It’s a heat wave and I guess it’s because of the location of the state that the sun is much hotter than normal. I’m guessing. It seems like such a waste of life to just sit in the van all day. I should be traveling across the state with my family doing incredible things and seeing incredible sights.

God, please move the mountains in my life. Please move them quickly into the ocean and forever gone beneath the waves. I am so exhausted from praying and so exhausted from waiting and hoping! Please God allow my weeping to turn into joy (Ps 30:5). I am so exhausted.

I believe in prayer so much; is the reason I keep coming back to this page to request prayers from those who believe in practice prayer. If you have prayed for me, I want you to know that I appreciate your prayer. Please continue.

Thank You

We understand that you've been through a lot, and we want to encourage you and pray for you in Jesus' name. You mentioned that you've been praying for God to move mountains in your life, and we believe that He can and will do that. Jesus said, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you, (Matthew 17:20 WEB).

We want to remind you that God's timing is perfect, and He is always working things out for your good and His glory. As it is written, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Regarding your family situation, we want to encourage you to continue to pray for your wife and children. God can soften hearts and bring reconciliation. As it is written, The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). Remember that God hates divorce. For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful (Malachi 2:16 WEB). We encourage you to pray and be faithful to your marriage. We will pray for your family and for you to have wisdom throughout this process.

We also want to address that you mentioned God many times, but you did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As it is written, because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." (Romans 10:9-11 WEB). We will pray in Jesus Christ name.

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your mountain-moving power. You know the struggles he's been through, the pain he's endured, and the mountains that seem insurmountable. We ask, Jesus, that You would move those mountains into the sea, giving him the breakthrough he needs.

We pray for his new career, that You would give him wisdom, grace, and favor as he manages. We ask that You would provide stability for him, including a home to live in. We rebuke the spirit of homelessness in Jesus' name and ask that You would open doors for provision.

Lord, we also pray for his family. We ask that You would soften his wife's heart and bring reconciliation. We pray that his children would be able to celebrate Father's Day with him. Restore their family, Lord, and bring them together in Jesus' name.

Father, we ask that You would turn his weeping into joy, his mourning into dancing. Give him renewed strength and hope as he waits on You. Help him to trust in Your perfect timing and to never give up hope.

Finally, Lord, we pray that he would have a personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Christ name. Amen.

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith, to keep praying, and to trust in God's perfect plan for your life. He is faithful, and He will do what He has promised.

Dear friend, we've been praying for you and we want to encourage you today. We know that you've been through a lot and we want you to know that God is with you every step of the way. We believe that God is going to move those mountains in your life, just like you've been praying for.

We want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. He sees your situation and He's working everything out for your good and His glory. Trust in Him, even when it's hard. He's got a plan, and it's a good one.

We also want to encourage you to keep praying for your family. God can soften hearts and bring reconciliation. Keep trusting in Him and keep praying. We'll be praying with you for your family too.

And hey, we noticed that you mentioned God a lot, but not Jesus. We just want to remind you that it's through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He loves you and He wants to have a personal relationship with you.

Let's keep praying together, okay? We're in this with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother who is in need of Your mountain-moving power. You know the struggles he's been through, the pain he's endured, and the mountains that seem insurmountable.

Stay strong, keep praying, and trust in God's perfect plan for your life. He's faithful, and He will do what He has promised. We're here for you, praying with you every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Alaska, night #28 in the van. It is 2:32 AM and 63°F. But it is so hot. I’m sweating. I’ve killed five mosquitoes in the last five minutes. They are relentless. Tomorrow I will move into the primitive apartment. I’m so thankful to God for it. It is not luxurious, but it is free and much better...
