Beloved of All
I just posted about the situation with the rent arrears. Some days I can't help but cry. The job loss has been one of the worst experiences in life and the not knowing how this State hearing situation is going to turn out has caused me to have physical symptoms which make me feel like going into the hospital is the best thing or to the emergency room. This is a burden that i cannot handle and i am totally on my own. People around but I haven't shared this issue because some people cannot keep a confidence. My silence against the property management company has been my greatest weapon and frankly i don't feel like repeating my story over and over again to people who ultimately cannot help. I ask in Jesus name for relief the hearing is being held in person in two weeks and I have the option to upload my evidence to the state and bring physical copies to the hearing. In the mean time I still have to endure the relentless text messages and emails from property management trying to get me to sign their fabricated documents and i have no protection. It's draining and has caused my blood count to drop. So I'm not sure what else the Lord expects me to do. I'm human, I have feelings and sometimes i feel totally abandoned and very vulnerable. This evidence that the CITY agency overlooked will now be locked into the State arrears hearings system upon uploading. I've reached out for egal assistance several times leading up to the hearing but I keep getting the runaround. This evidence proves that it has a direct effect on me. It's not tattling, its asking for people to do right by me. They chose the other route. As I mentioned earlier the City housing authority has already given the landlord a violation for making false statements. Sometimes I feel like i should just withdraw the hearing because the outside pressure is taking a toll.

We hear your heart and we weep with you in this heavy season of job loss, rent arrears, and the weight of this State hearing that is just two weeks away. We understand the tears, the sleeplessness, the physical toll you are feeling in your body, even to the point of your blood count dropping and wondering if you should go to the hospital or emergency room. Please hear us, we do not take those physical symptoms lightly and we encourage you to seek medical care promptly if you feel that need, God often brings healing and help through the hands of doctors and nurses and you do not need to endure that alone. You said this is a burden you cannot handle and that you feel totally on your own and abandoned and very vulnerable, and we want to remind you that our Lord sees exactly where you are and He has not left you.

The word tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. When you feel abandoned, we cling to His promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And in Deuteronomy 31:6 we are reminded He will not fail you nor forsake you. You are not forgotten even when people around you cannot be trusted with your confidence and even when you feel you must remain silent to protect yourself.

We understand why you have kept silent against the property management company and why you are exhausted from repeating your story to people who ultimately cannot help, and why the relentless texts and emails pressuring you to sign fabricated documents feels so draining and without protection. We affirm you are right not to sign anything false. Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh Proverbs 12:22 and you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16. The fact that the City housing authority has already given the landlord a violation for making false statements shows that the truth is coming to light and that God sees injustice. It is not tattling to ask for people to do right by you, it is standing for truth, and we encourage you to continue to walk in integrity, to document everything, to upload your evidence to the State system as you have the opportunity to do and to bring those physical copies with you to the in person hearing. Keep copies for yourself, keep a record of every message, and do not sign what you know to be untrue. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves Matthew 10:16.

We also hear how tempted you are to just withdraw the hearing because the outside pressure is taking such a toll, and we gently encourage you not to make that decision out of fear or exhaustion alone. The Lord expects you to be human, He knows you have feelings and that your heart is overwhelmed, and His invitation is not to carry this alone. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Cast your burden on Yahweh and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22, and casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. When your heart is overwhelmed, He will lead you to the rock that is higher than you Psalm 61:2. We know you have reached out for legal assistance several times and kept getting the runaround, and we encourage you to continue to seek one trustworthy advocate, perhaps a legal aid clinic, a housing counselor, or a pastor who can keep confidence, because even one godly, trustworthy person to stand with you and pray with you and help you organize your evidence can lift some of the isolation you feel, even if you do not share with everyone.

We thank you for asking in Jesus name, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and peace that passes understanding.

We pray together now for you.

Father, in Jesus name we lift our dear one to Your throne of grace. You see the tears, the job loss, the rent arrears, the fear about this hearing, and the physical weakness and drop in blood count. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body and for wisdom to seek the medical care needed, and for Your protection over health in these two weeks. We ask for Your peace to guard heart and mind as You promise in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Lord, provide for every financial need, open doors for employment and provision, and let Your favor rest on this hearing. We pray that the evidence that was overlooked by the City agency will be clearly seen by the State, that truth will prevail and that no false document or pressure tactic will succeed. We pray You would restrain those relentless messages and give our loved one wisdom, protection, and not to be moved to sign what is false. Give strength not to withdraw out of fear, but to stand in truth with grace, trusting the outcome to You. Comfort this heart that feels abandoned and vulnerable, remind this precious soul that You are near, that You will never leave nor forsake, and that Your grace is sufficient for this day 2 Corinthians 12:9. We ask for relief, for restful sleep, for a trustworthy helper and advocate to come alongside, and for Your will to be done in that hearing room. We place this burden into Your hands and trust You to sustain. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We are standing with you, we are asking God to carry what you cannot carry, to be your defender and provider, and to give you strength for each step until the hearing and beyond. Keep bringing your petitions to Him, keep your evidence in order, seek medical care as needed, and lean on the One who promises to uphold you with His righteous right hand.

We've been sitting with your update and we hear how heavy this has become. Job loss, rent arrears, and a state hearing with so much riding on it would leave anyone feeling drained and on edge, especially when you feel you have to stay quiet to protect your case and can't share freely with others.

We are concerned about the physical symptoms you mentioned and that your blood count has dropped. Please reach out to your doctor or clinic promptly to let them know what you're experiencing, and if you feel you need urgent care, please go to the emergency room or urgent care without waiting. We will be praying for your health right alongside that care.

With the hearing two weeks away, the constant texts and emails and the pressure to sign things must be exhausting. A couple of small steadying steps may help in the meantime. Keep one organized set of your evidence, both the upload and the printed copies you will bring, exactly as the state asks for it. Keep a simple dated log of the messages from management and give yourself permission not to answer or sign anything in the moment. If you have strength for one more try, reach out once more to a legal aid or tenant assistance office before you decide about withdrawing, just so you have clear guidance on your options before you make that choice.

You are not forgotten even when you feel abandoned and vulnerable. We are holding you before the Lord.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the tears, the sleepless nights, and the weight of this hearing. Grant relief, wisdom for each decision, protection from pressure, and trustworthy help in these next two weeks. Guard health and bring Your peace and presence day by day. Amen.

Your burden has been heard, and the Lord knows the tears you have shed in secret and the physical distress this trial has brought upon you. It is no small thing to lose work, to face arrears, and to wait for a hearing while enduring daily pressure from those who contend against you. To feel abandoned and vulnerable in such an hour is human, and the Lord does not despise an honest heart that tells Him so.

Scripture invites you to do what you have begun to do, to cry unto God most high, unto God that performs all things for you. There is nothing more delightful to the believer than every morning to commit the day's troubles to God and then to go into the world feeling, my Father knows it all. You need not pretend before Him that you are strong when you are faint, or that you feel peace when you feel fear. Come and tell the Lord that you do not feel as you wish you did. He sees sin in us if we do not, and He also sees our sorrow and our weakness, and He is not mocked by a feigned strength. Pour out your heart before Him as you have declared your ways to Him, trusting that He hears you.

You have spoken of silence as a weapon and of weariness at having to repeat your story. It is wise to be prudent, and to go and do the right thing and then be no longer anxious about it, but leave the result with God. You have evidence that has been overlooked, and a lawful opportunity to present it both by uploading it to the State system and by bringing physical copies to the hearing in two weeks. If that evidence speaks the truth, present it plainly and honestly before the authorities God has appointed, for God Himself pleads the cause of His people. You are content to be in just such a place as God would put you, and yet your straits seem too many for you. Now is the time to exercise faith upon a living God, for your God is not worth having if He cannot help you when you want help.

Do not think that your affliction means you are forsaken. Our Savior Himself cried, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me, and He teaches us that the godly in their anguish turn to the hand that smites them, not from it. If you think God has left you, do not give up prayer, but pray as your Lord did and be more earnest than ever, saying still, My God, my God. Though clouds may surround you, your God is your light. Though storms rage around you, your God is your might. He is the God of the hills and the God of the valleys, present in the quiet plain as well as on the mountain, and He has not forgotten you in this valley.

For your health, please do not neglect the body the Lord has given you. A dropping blood count, persistent physical symptoms, and thoughts of needing the emergency room are matters to bring promptly to medical care, not only to prayer. If you feel you need hospital care, seek it. At the same time, seek one faithful, discreet confidant, whether a pastor or a mature believer who can keep a confidence, and continue to seek lawful help for the hearing. Even when you have received the runaround, keep knocking. Bring your evidence in order, keep copies, keep a record of the relentless messages and the requests to sign documents you believe to be false, and do not sign what is not true. To withdraw simply because of outside pressure would not relieve the burden, but to stand quietly in truth and let God be your refuge in the shadow of His wings will give you rest whatever the outcome.

May the Lord grant you present peace through being justified by faith in Jesus Christ, for only through His blood is there peace with God, and from that peace flows peace in trial. We have present rest, but there still remains a rest for the people of God, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Let us pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your throne, look upon this weary one. You know the loss of work, the arrears, the waiting, and the pressure that drains strength day and night. Be merciful, O God, be merciful, for this soul trusts in You. In the shadow of Your wings let there be refuge. Give wisdom for the hearing that is two weeks away, clarity to present what is true, and favor with those who judge. Restrain what is false and protect from coercion. Lift the physical burden, restore health, calm fear, and let this heart know that it is not alone, for You hear and You perform all things for Your people. Grant relief according to Your perfect will, and daily grace to endure until it comes. Teach Your statutes and lead in the way of truth, for Jesus sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
