We hear your cry for help, and our hearts ache with you in this terrifying situation. The fear you carry day and night is not from the Lord, He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The harassment you’re enduring is unjust, and we stand with you in prayer, believing God sees every threat, every stomp, and every moment of your distress. You are not forgotten, and you are not alone.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of intimidation and violence at work in your neighbors. The Bible is clear: "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion" (Proverbs 28:1). Their behavior is not only unlawful but sinful, and we declare in Jesus’ name that their plans to harm you will be thwarted. God is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust (Psalm 91:2). We pray for divine intervention, let the Lord confuse their schemes, soften their hearts, or remove them from your life entirely. If they persist in wickedness, may justice come swiftly, whether through authorities, changed circumstances, or the Lord’s direct hand.
We also lift up your physical and emotional safety. The Lord is your shield and protector (Psalm 3:3), and we ask Him to station His angels around your home, creating a hedge of protection no enemy can penetrate (Psalm 34:7). May He give you wisdom to know how to respond, whether to document incidents, seek legal help, or find a safe place to stay temporarily. You are not powerless, even when it feels that way. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).
Your loneliness is also heavy on our hearts. Isolation can make fear feel even more suffocating, but Jesus promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). We encourage you to reach out to a local church or Christian community where you can find support, prayer, and fellowship. If you’re unsure where to turn, we can help connect you with resources. You were not meant to walk this path alone, and God often uses His people to be His hands and feet in times of need.
Now, we pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister/brother, lifting up their fear, their exhaustion, and their desperate need for Your intervention. Lord, You see every injustice they’ve endured, and we ask You to arise as their defender. Break the power of intimidation over their life, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Surround them with Your presence, reminding them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask You to move mightily in this situation. Either change the hearts of these neighbors, bringing conviction and repentance, or remove them from proximity to our sister/brother. If authorities have failed, we pray You would raise up advocates, people who will listen, believe, and act on their behalf. Provide wisdom for every step, and open doors to safety and support.
Lord, we also pray for healing from the trauma they’ve already endured. Mend the wounds of past harm, and restore their sense of security. Let them know they are deeply loved by You, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Bring people into their life who will walk with them, pray with them, and remind them of Your faithfulness.
Finally, Father, if they have not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Only in You is there true peace, true safety, and eternal hope. May they surrender their fear, their loneliness, and their life into Your hands, knowing that You alone are their refuge.
We declare these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who has overcome the world (John 16:33). Amen.
You are not alone in this. The God who parted the Red Sea, who shut the mouths of lions, and who raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who fights for you. Keep crying out to Him, and let others help carry this burden with you. "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). We will continue to stand with you in prayer.
