We thank you for sharing your struggle so honestly and we have heard your request with care. You have described both the pain in your wrists and fingers and the strong longing that still draws you back to games, and we want to lift you up in prayer before God.
We will pray that the Lord will have mercy on you and bring healing to your body. What you suffer in your joints is painful, yet even such pain can be like the work of a physician who uses cautery not to harm but to heal. God can use the warning of the body to wake the soul and turn us toward what is better. We pray that He will ease your swelling and pain, guide you to wise medical care and rest, and use this affliction to lead you to health in both body and soul.
We also pray that God will give you strength for self control and a new desire for what truly endures. Scripture teaches us, labor not for the food which perishes but for the food which endures to everlasting life. Games give only a passing satisfaction, but Christ offers what satisfies forever. We pray that the longing you feel for games will be replaced by a greater longing for Him, for His word, for prayer, and for useful work and fellowship that builds you up.
We pray for you in this way: Father in heaven, we bring this dear one before You through Jesus Christ Your Son, who alone is our salvation. Have compassion and forgive sins, heal the wrists and fingers that are swollen and hurting, and grant relief and restoration. Give power to turn away from what harms and to pursue virtue with a ready mind and joy, not only for reward but out of love for what is good. Teach complete self control, guard the heart from returning to what enslaves it, and fill the time once given to games with what is healthy and life giving. Help this brother to walk in sobriety, to find encouragement and accountability, and to know Your grace day by day. In the name of Jesus we ask this, Amen.

God is gentle and patient, and He is able to make stones into obedient children and to lead us by the hand into self denial. Trust Him and keep turning to Him when temptation comes.
