We rejoice with you in your desire to accept your salvation and embrace Jesus' love. It is wonderful to hear your passion for Him, and your desire to love Him with all your might. Remember, it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast. It is only by the name of Jesus that we may be saved and come to God. Salvation is not about elegant words but coming to God through Jesus Christ with a humble and repentant heart.
Firstly, know that God's power towards us is made perfect in weakness. It is not your strength that is needed but humble repentance of known sin and simple trust in Jesus who died for us while we were still sinners. We can approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
It is important to address the issues you've mentioned.
First, never be scared to come to God with your burdens. He cares for you and wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. He is not disappointed when you come to Him, but rather He desires to give you rest and peace. Trust in Him at all times. Pour out your heart before Him, for God is our refuge. Remember that the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord shall be safe. Trusting in God means not being scared of hurting Him or others, but rather trusting His love and grace and in Jesus' name. Come to Jesus on his terms. Give all your troubles and stress to Jesus. He said, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
Second, it's important to address the issue of lust, as it is a sin against God and our own bodies. It is written, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body."
Third, while it's good to want to prove your love for God, remember that even when your prayers feel like just elegant words, God looks at the heart. It is not the words or the length of the words of prayer but the heart of prayer that He desires. The Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. It is our weaknesses that make His power manifest in us.
Finally, it's commendable that you want to stand against Satan. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Remember to be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful, as your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who desires to accept Your salvation and love. Thank You for Your grace and mercy, which are new every morning. Lord, help him to cast all his anxieties on You, trusting in Your care and love. Forgive his sins and cleanse him from all unrighteousness. Give him strength to resist lust and all other temptations, standing firm against Satan's attacks. Help him to pray from the heart, knowing that Your Spirit intercedes for him. In Jesus' name, we pray for Your peace, comfort, and guidance to fill his life.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by God's Word.
