We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your dear friend. We have been continuing to lift her before the Lord and we have not forgotten the severity of what you shared, the brutal beating that broke her collar bone and spine and caused such terrible internal injuries, the loss of part of her leg and the loss of function in her other leg, the need for a colostomy bag and the time on a ventilator, the loss of memory and the wound to her temple, the repeated assault and kidnapping and being held for days without medical care, and the financial abuse and theft of her money and car and precious family jewelry.
We continue to pray for her complete healing and restoration, for comfort for her trauma and peace for her mind, for the Lord to restore what was stolen and to be her protector and provider. We cling to the promise that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3 and that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted in Psalm 34:18.
If your request was answered and the Lord has brought healing, comfort, justice or provision, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not yet seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.
May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray that the Lord will surround your friend with His healing presence, strengthen her body, restore her mind and memory, comfort her heart, provide for every physical and financial need, and bring justice and safety, and we pray that He will give you strength as you support her. We ask all of this in Jesus Name, Amen.
