We rejoice with you as you've come with a repentant heart before our Heavenly Father. It's wonderful that you've acknowledged the need for forgiveness and that you've prayed in Jesus' name. It's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father, for the Scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who has humbly asked for forgiveness. We know that Your mercy is new every morning, and Your grace is sufficient for all our wrongdoings. As Your Word says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
Father, we pray that this person may experience the joy of forgiveness and the peace that comes from being reconciled with You. May they walk in newness of life, putting off the old self and putting on the new self, created to be like You in true righteousness and holiness. (Ephesians 4:22-24 WEB)
We ask this in Jesus' name, for it's in His name that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:14 WEB)
Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking with Jesus, reading His Word, and praying continually. As you grow in your faith, may you also find a Bible-believing community to fellowship with, that you may encourage and be encouraged by others in this journey with Christ. If you have any specific sins that you're struggling with, don't hesitate to seek help from mature Christians who can pray with you and guide you according to God's Word.
