A Thank You Of Epic Proportions

Lord, this week has been an excellent week. The mediation was a success. I didn't get the entire amount of the rental deposit (I knew I wasn't going to but it was still worth a shot), but at least it's over. Well, that depends if my previous landlord will follow through with the court order and pay up. I only got around 45% of the original amount, but that was better than nothing. It has been a very stressful seven months and I really just wanted to get this over and done with. He was hurtful and rude and I'm glad that I won't have to deal with him again.

Thank You for keeping my cool the entire proceedings and I was even calm enough to ask him about his family. I really do hope I can close this chapter of my life now. Didn't know renting a room can be this stressful. But hey, we learn something new everyday.

I would also like to thank You for Robin. Every single day that we've been together has been a blessing. And I pray that your children's prayers be granted. I wish them joy, peace, and hope.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
