A prayer for my husband.

Lord Jesus, I humbly come before your Throne of Grace tonight with a heavy heart and a hurting spirit. I annoint my husband with holy oil and I make the sign of the cross on his tormented leg. Lord, he has been struggling for so long. He hasn't had one good day in almost a year and a half. He asked me if you take care of your children and he is one of them, then how come he hasn't been healed. What do I say to that, Lord? I tell him not to give up, not to give in to the enemy, not to listen to his lies and fall into his traps.

Lord, I am a patient person but I am getting so weary from this battle. It's not that I will give up, I could never allow myself to do that, but I need some reinforcements. I need your loving arms around me to hold me for awhile.

I have asked many times for healing and you have said NO. OK, I accept your will without question. If the answer is NO, then show me what to do and how to respond to Bob so that he can understand. You know he has brain damage and that makes understanding difficult at times. I ask not that you take this cup from me, but that you give me grace to keep drinking from it, to follow your will and your leading. I can walk the walk and talk the talk as well as anyone who serves you with their whole being but I am not sure that is enough to carry me through. Give me strength for each day so that I can do my caretaking duties, take care of my home, my business, my equipment, call upon my family and help them with their needs and still have time to come and pray for all my friends new and old.

My desire is to be used as your vessel without waivering, without getting too fatigued, without ceasing. May it so, Lord. Protect your servant girl. Renew and recharge her for the days to come, the prayers that keep coming and the warriors who need someone to stand with them as they pray.

Lord, I truly thank you for all that are gathered here. It's quite an assembly of the most kind, caring and loving early saints on earth. To you be the glory for that! Lord, I feel better now that this is off my chest. I feel revived as I sit and write and meditate on the blessings you have given me. If I am strong, it is because of you. All that I have and all that I am is a result of your love and connection with me. I thank you for that, for your hand touching me. I thank you for all these friends. To you be all glory, honor and praise forever more. May your kingdom come and you will be done. Amen

I do want to say that Bob has really been hurting today, struggling with pain in his leg, head and pricklies all over. I ask for prayer to give him relief. God is so merciful, so kind and loving. Bob gets really discouraged. He doesn't have my faith and I can't give it to him. He is not born again but he does believe in God and in prayer(for the most part)

8/21 Bob had a really difficult night. It is 4:30 AM my time. He got a little sleep - a few hours - and woke up still in a lot of pain and discomfort. I don't know what is going on but I do thank you for your prayers. They mean a lot ot both of us. Patti

8:51 AM - A time to praise! Thank you Jesus for these warriors who have gathered today. Thank you for releasing Bob's pain. Thank you for touching him with your mighty hand and answering our petitions. To God be the glory! Amen and amen

Dear Lord Jesus Christ~

You have given Patti so many giftings. She has a huge heart of compassion, and a wonderful way with graceful words that uplift and carry others further than they thought they could go. She has been a tremendous, tireless servant of Yours, serving you and others with all that is within her. You see her hard work on behalf of her husband. She hurts when he hurts, Jesus. She has a heavy heart tonight, and needs a lift herself. Oh Father God, turn Your loving eyes toward Your faithful one this night. Ease her hurt and give her a renewed hope. I pray thay You will annoint her spirit and mind as she sleeps tonight. Holy Spirit, do a secret, special work in her tonight. She is becoming more and more like You Jesus. Her heart is pure gold, and she reflects Your dear face and loving character to so many others. I pray for You to pour out so many blessings on her she will be laughing and singing with joy! Show her all the people she has helped, by her obedience to you. Please give her a reward here on earth Lord. We know she will get a reward in heaven, but she needs a present now, Abba-Daddy! Surprise her, in Your time, as only You can.You are greatly loved, dear sister Patti.

Lord you know the struggles and sorrow she is going through. Please Lord give her an answer for her husband. Please reach down and bring comfort to her.She has been a comfort to so many. Let her feel your love and theirs surround her now. She is a faithful servant Lord I ask that you would bring her the fruit of the spirit peace, joy ,love and Hope. In Jesus holy name I pray amen.

Thank you Lord for these prayers have truly touched my heart tonight. I lift up Bob and ask for your hand upon his hurting body. I ask you to remove the pain in his leg and head and the tormenting stabs at the rest of his body. Lord, I think he has a fever too and I ask your hand upon that as well. May you heal him with your mercy and cover him with your grace. I thank you for your hand upon Bob and praise you for your answered prayer, that it will not return void but accomplish that for which is was sent. Amen

Lord, I pray for encouragement for Bob and also for Patti. Lord I pray for relief of pain in his leg and head, may Your healing light touch his whole body and penetrate each cell. May You also strengthen him today and give him a sparkle of hope. I pray for Your loving arms around Patti and much strength and comfort. Thank You Lord for what You still are going to do in both their lifes. A "no" of today may be for a reason of greater blessing in the future. Only You in your great wisdom understands the path that you have in store for Bob and Silentangel. We do not question your process but ask that you reinforce their understanding that You are always with them. I pray for Bob's recovery and ask your continued love over both of these, your children. Give Angel the courage to deal with this situation and know that we her family in Christ, love and pray for her. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.

I stand in agreement with all previous prayers. We plead for supernatural healing of Bob's leg and soul. Fill him with your holy spirit and he will see things differently. Bless this family unit spiritually so that they may honor and serve you Lord as one. Bless Patti and keep her strong for her service to you is so important.
