A prayer for healing

Heavenly Father,

I am in desperate need, I have been ill with influenza for over a week now, my body is in need of healing and health.

But the desperation of my need is not som much of a psysical nature, but more of a spiritual nature!

Lord God, I pray You for a life-changing encounter with Your Son Jesus the Christ.

Lord Father, I do not know Your Son, and I desperately want to know Him as my Lord and Saviour.

Lord, I do not lead a life, where there is victory over sin, I am still selfcentered, I still lie. I still am discontent, I still am proud in all its different disguises!

This shows, that Your Son is for/in me not my Saviour nor Lord.

Lord God, I know, that only The Power of Your and Jesus´ Holy Spirit can cut my (still committed) sins by their roots.

Lord Father, save me from the slavery of sin, save me from the lie, dellusion and slavery of self.

Father, I beseech You for Your undeserved Mercy and Grace in knowing Your Son as my Saviour and Lord.

In the name of Your Beloved and Precious Son, Jesus the Christ, I pray (may my heart and being truly name Him so).
