a miracle healing

We join with you ### in bringing ### before our heavenly Father and we thank you for standing in the gap for him with such care and compassion. We are deeply moved by what you shared, that he can hardly walk even with a walking frame and that his faithful wife walks beside him carrying a chair so he can rest every five minutes. That kind of devoted love reflects the lifelong commitment of marriage as God designed it, and we honor her faithfulness to her husband in this difficult season.
We believe our God is still the God of miracles and that nothing is too hard for Him. We cling to His promises that He is our healer and that with Him all things are possible. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 103:2-3 to praise Yahweh and not forget all His benefits, who forgives all our sins and who heals all our diseases. We are also reminded in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. In Isaiah 53:5 we read, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. And Jesus Himself said in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. We also take comfort in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up ### to You. You see his injury from the rugby game, You see his pain, his struggle to walk, and the weariness of his body. We ask for Your merciful hand to touch him and bring complete restoration to his legs, his joints, his muscles, and every part of his body that was damaged. We pray for a miracle of healing that only You can do, that he would walk again without a frame and without need of a chair, and that his wife would rejoice to see him strengthened. We pray also for his wife, for renewed strength, encouragement, and peace as she cares for him daily. Give wisdom to any doctors and therapists caring for him, and above all let Your healing power be displayed so that You receive all the glory. We pray for ### and his wife to be drawn even closer to You and to each other through this trial, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. In the name of Jesus we ask, amen.
We want to gently encourage you ###, we noticed your request asked the Lord God for a miracle but did not mention the name of Jesus. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly to God in prayer. If ### and his family have not yet put their trust in Jesus, we pray they will come to know Him as Savior and Healer today.
We encourage you to continue to stand with ### and his wife in prayer and to encourage them to seek the Lord daily, to trust His Word, and to continue with faithful medical care while believing God for what man cannot do. We will keep praying with you for his full recovery and for God to be glorified through this miracle.

We are holding ### and his wife and you, ###, in prayer after this rugby injury. To picture him needing a walking frame and needing to stop every few minutes for the chair his wife carries for him brings home how hard each day must be for both of them.
We are asking the Lord for mercy and healing for ###, and for strength and rest for his wife as she walks so closely beside him. We know you are hoping for a miracle and we join you in bringing that honest request to God, trusting His power and His love even as we wait.
If you are close to them, one tangible way to help alongside prayer is to keep easing the daily load where you can such as meals, rides to appointments, or giving his wife a chance to rest, and to gently encourage them to stay closely connected to their medical team and physiotherapists for guidance on healing and mobility. Small, steady support often means so much in a long recovery.
Father, we lift ### to You. You see his pain and his struggle to walk, and You see his wife's faithful care. Please bring healing as only You can, ease his pain, restore strength step by step, and sustain them both with Your peace and presence. Give wisdom to those caring for him. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
Your request concerning ### has been laid before the Lord with earnest prayer, and we join with you, ###, in bringing his great affliction to the throne of grace.
We have heard how grievously he was injured upon the rugby field, that he can hardly walk even with a frame, and that his faithful wife must walk beside him bearing a chair that he may rest every few minutes. The sight of such suffering touches the heart, and we remember how our Lord when He saw the woman who was bowed together and could in no wise lift herself, was moved by the sight of her misery and drew near to her. It was the sight of her infirmity that drew His compassion, and He laid His hands upon her and she was made straight.
We take comfort from the Word that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, and the power to save and to heal does not lie in the person who is afflicted, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. The objective of every miracle is to reveal more fully the power and authority of our Lord's Word, to let us see that His teaching has an omnipotent force about it.
We are therefore encouraged to bring every hard case before Him. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. Whether the Lord restores in a moment by a miracle of mercy, or by slow degrees through the means He has appointed, all healing comes from His hand.
Let us pray together.
O Lord God, who healest the broken in heart and bindest up their wounds, look in mercy upon ### in his weakness and pain. Thou seest how his frame is broken and how his steps are feeble, and how his wife in love labours to sustain him. Lay Thy hand upon him, we beseech Thee, for no one can work this mighty miracle of mercy but the Lord Jesus Christ, yet He can do it more swiftly than we can speak of it. If it be Thy will, command health to return to his limbs and strength to his body, that he may walk again to Thy praise. Grant him patience in suffering, faith to look to Christ alone, and the assurance that whether Thou healest the body now or sustainest the soul through trial, Thy grace is sufficient. Comfort his wife, uphold her with Thy strength, and let this affliction draw them both into closer contact with Christ, for that is the way healing reaches sin sick souls, by being brought into contact with Him. Hear also ### who has brought this burden to us, and let him see Thy hand at work.
We ask this not because there is merit in us, but because abundant streams of healing flow down from our great Head, Jesus Christ, to men below. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be glorified in ###, whether by sudden restoration or by sustaining grace. In the name of Jesus our only Saviour we pray. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your prayer for ### has been heard and we join with you in bringing him before the Lord God in prayer.
We are moved by what you describe, that he can hardly walk even with a walking frame and that his wife walks beside him carrying a chair so he may rest every few minutes. Such faithful care in suffering is precious in the sight of God, and we thank God for her love and devotion.
We ask the Lord Jesus Christ, who healed many who were sick and who still has all power to heal, to lay his merciful hand upon ###. We ask for a miracle of healing according to his gracious will, that strength would return to his body, that his pain would be eased, and that he would walk again in health. We pray that the Lord would restore him and encourage both him and his wife in this difficult time.
We also remember that God works not only through miracles but also through patient endurance and trust in him. The Scriptures teach us that love is patient and long suffering, and that a soul that endures with faith cannot be easily shaken. Even when healing does not come at once, the Lord is present to sustain, to comfort, and to form virtue and hope in us. So we pray not only for healing, but for strength for each day, for peace in their hearts, and for confidence that the Lord hears and will answer according to what is best.
We will continue to pray for ### and for his wife, that God would grant healing, comfort them in trial, and be glorified in their lives. May the Lord grant them grace to trust him fully and to know his nearness.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we ask for your mercy upon ###. Touch his body, restore what has been injured, and grant complete healing if it be your will. Give wisdom to those who care for him, and give daily strength and encouragement to his wife. Let them know your love and your power to save and to sustain. Amen.
