A Man Is Contemplating Suicide Right NOW!

Playloreth

Disciple of Prayer
A man is contemplating suicide right NOW! You feel that you have nothing to live for. You have lost so much, and you just want to die. In Jesus' name listen to me! You can be set free from that spirit of suicide. You can have that abundant life that Jesus spoke of. With that said right NOW, place your hand on your Bible, and lift the other hand in the air. Father in heaven, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the power of the Holy Ghost, I ask You for this man who is contemplating suicide. I come against all spirits of suicide, and cast them out, and command them to go to the pit. I ask You O Lord that You fill this man with the Holy Spirit. That the life he once had in You, he will once again. For it is You O Lord Jesus that is life. Let him have that abundant life, and prosper in You O Lord Jesus! In Jesus' name! Amen!

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this desperate moment, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The pain you are feeling is real, and the weight of loss can feel unbearable, but we declare that your life is precious in the sight of God. You are not alone, and you are not without hope. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

First, we rebuke the spirit of suicide in the mighty name of Jesus. We command it to leave you now and go to the dry places, never to return. The Word of God says, "The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). That abundant life is yours through Christ, and we declare that you will walk in it again.

We also recognize that despair often comes when we take our eyes off Jesus and focus on our circumstances. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11). Even in your darkest hour, God is your hope and your strength. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

If you have not placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. The Bible says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Call out to Jesus now, He is waiting to save you, heal you, and restore you.

We pray for you right now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this precious soul who is in deep distress. Lord, You see his pain, his loss, and his despair. We ask that You would break the chains of darkness that are seeking to destroy him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare that this man is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and his life has purpose and meaning in You. Restore to him the joy of Your salvation and uphold him with Your generous Spirit (Psalm 51:12). Surround him with Your love, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind him that You are close to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5).

We ask that You would bring godly people into his life who can walk with him through this season, believers who will pray for him, encourage him, and point him back to You. Give him the strength to reach out for help, whether to a trusted friend, a pastor, or a counselor. Lord, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this pain, we trust that You are at work.

We also pray for any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in his heart. If there is anything that is separating him from Your love, Lord, reveal it to him and lead him to repentance. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let him experience Your forgiveness and freedom.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would give him a fresh vision for his future. Show him the plans You have for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Let him see that his story is not over and that You are writing a new chapter even now.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and Your love. We trust that You will rescue this man from the pit and set his feet upon the rock (Psalm 40:2). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

If you are reading this, we urge you to take one step toward life right now. Call someone you trust, a friend, a family member, a pastor, or even a helpline. You do not have to face this alone. The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is available 24/7 at 988 in the U.S. Reach out to them if you have no one else. God loves you, and so do we. Your life matters, and there is hope in Jesus Christ. Do not give up. We are praying for you, and we believe that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Hold on, help is on the way.

We hear the weight in your words, and we’re so sorry for the loss and hurt you’re carrying right now. You matter. Even when it feels impossible to believe, your life has value beyond what you can see in this moment.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You don’t have to face this alone, trained people are ready to listen and help at any hour.

When pain runs this deep, it can seem like there’s nothing left. But reaching out is the bravest thing you can do. Right now, we would gently ask you to take that concrete step: call a helpline, or turn to someone you trust, a pastor, a friend, a neighbor. Speaking the darkness out loud can loosen its grip, even a little.

We are praying with you, not at you. Father, hold this man steady in the storm. Surround him with people who will listen without judgment, and let him feel even the faintest brush of hope. Quiet the voice of despair, and give him the courage to make the call. Protect him and carry him safely through this night. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very act of contemplating self-murder reveals that you have listened to the father of lies, who would drive you to a sin for which there is no repentance beyond the grave. To despair is an unwarrantable thing, a thing full of sin and fraught with mischief, besides being false and unreasonable. No mortal has a just pretense to perish in despair, and if he does so, despair is a form of suicide, a form of willful self-destruction. No man has a right to despair! No man can be right while he is despairing.

You say you have nothing to live for, but you forget that the God who made you is “the God of Hope,” and those who are without hope are also without God. When you declare, “There is no hope,” you do but draw the unwarrantable conclusion that because you find no life in yourself, there is none in Him. This is still self-righteousness, making your own feelings the measure of the Almighty’s grace. Yet even now, while you breathe, hope is not dead. While I live, I hope; and while I hope, I live. Sinner, your life lies in hope, and while you have hope, you have life!

I know well the midnight of despair, I have been there, when my soul drew near unto the pit, and my life abhorred comfort. It was while I was in that dreadful state that Infinite Mercy met with me. And let me tell you, there is deliverance! The Son of Righteousness can rise with healing beneath His wings on your soul, even now. Christ came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly, life that triumphs over poverty, sickness, contempt, and even death itself. That abundant life is still to be had by any who will come to Him.

Do not lie down in a fit of despair and die. You hear us sing, “Only trust Him,” but you dare not. Yet His own word declares, “I have found a ransom.” There is no room for despair where Jesus Christ is lifted up. Look to Him upon the cross, there is life for a look at the Crucified One. Though your sins be as scarlet, the pardon is abundant, more than sufficient for every filthy dream and black transgression. Your extremity may be God’s opportunity; when your bones are dried, He can come in as the Resurrection and the Life.

Cast yourself at His feet now. Cry out from the depths, and He will hear. Deliverance from the power of darkness is His gift, not your wage. Only believe it, and come to Christ, for abundant life is yet to be had.

The enemy never despairs of your destruction, but you must not despair of your salvation. This is the snare: to make you believe that your life has no worth, that your losses are final, and that hope itself is a lie. But what is hope? It is feeling confidence in things to come. If you had everything in this world, what need would you have for hope? God asks of you only this one thing: that you trust Him for what is unseen. That is the very gift that saved you in the beginning, when you were dead in sins and without strength. You brought nothing else to the Bridegroom but your hoping in Him. Do not cast that away now.

The present life is short, the labor small. Even if the trial is great, do not shrink back. For if you will not endure the glorious toil of repentance and virtue, you will surely toil and weary yourself in other ways. But here, the fruit is abundant, and the recompense eternal. Look at David: how many things drove him to despair, the greatness of his sins, the nearness of death, the wreck after so many traffickings. Yet he did not cast away his confidence. He held fast to hope, and through patience he obtained the promise.

Do not say, “I have lost so much that there is nothing left.” You have not lost the one thing that saved you: your hope in God. And that hope will not betray you. If it found you a prisoner and an enemy and made you a son and a freeman, will it fail you now? Let no man despair so long as it is called today. As long as you have breath, the door stands open. Exhort your own soul; rouse yourself. The enemy is wicked and never gives up, but this is to your condemnation if you give up on yourself when God has not given up on you.

Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. They chose to suffer rather than to seize a fleeting relief, because they looked to a life beyond this one. You, too, are not made for this world alone. If you seek your all here, you have lost the nobility of faith. But if you wait with patience, you will see that these light and momentary troubles are working for you a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Death is not the end; it is a passage. For if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His.

Hold fast, then. Shut not up the doors; close not up the entrance. The way is open. Lay hold on it, and you will advance quickly. Do not believe the lie that there is nothing left. He is life, and He fills you with His Spirit. That abundant life is not a stranger to hope; it is received by those who wait for what they do not yet see. Wait on Him, and you will see His salvation.

The overwhelming emptiness you feel right now is not a lie about your circumstances, but it is a lie about your life itself. It is the final, logical conclusion of trying to find meaning, purpose, or a reason to continue on the animal plane alone. This is the life lived "under the sun," where the body and its needs and losses dominate everything. Solomon, with all his accomplishments and pleasures, reached the very same precipice and cried out that he hated life, that everything was empty and a chasing after the wind. When you evaluate your existence based only on what you have lost or what you have failed to gain in this world, despair is the only honest result. That feeling of having nothing to live for comes from drinking from a well that has no water.

But there is another life, a quality of life that has nothing to do with the success or failure of your flesh. This is the record: God has given us eternal life, and that life is in His Son. Not just a quantity of life that goes on forever, but a quality of life that begins right now and overflows with righteousness, peace, and joy. This is life "in the Son." Your old life, dominated by the flesh and its despair, was buried with Christ. The bitterness, the anger, the hopelessness that is screaming for control right now is part of that dead man. You do not have to obey it. You do not have to let your flesh sit on the throne of your life, telling you that the darkness is all there is. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has the power to make you free from this law of sin and death that is pulling you down.

That life is Christ Himself. He is the bread of life. The flesh, with all its screaming needs and deep pains, profits nothing. It is the Spirit who gives life, and His words are spirit and life. The spirit of suicide is a spirit of darkness, and you do not defeat darkness by fighting it in your own strength; you expel it by letting the stronger force of life and light in Christ flood your being. His life is hid with Christ in God, and if you are in Him, that is your true life too, safely hidden beyond the reach of this present devastation. Do not settle for a shadow when Christ is your life. Let the old bondage go. The life He has for you is not an empty, frustrating existence under the sun; it is a life in the Son, an overflowing cup, a life where your spirit is in union with God’s Spirit. Reach for that life, which is the only real one.

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with such a heavy and urgent burden to lift before the Lord. It has been on our hearts day and night to stand in the gap for you, praying fervently that the spirit of despair would be broken and that the peace of Jesus—which surpasses all understanding—would guard your heart and mind. We have continued to intercede, believing that God is able to restore hope where there seems to be none and to replace sorrow with the joy of His salvation.

If the Lord has moved in your life since you posted this cry for help—if you have felt His presence, His comfort, or a renewed sense of purpose—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share how God has worked, so that we may rejoice with you and give Him all the glory. Your testimony could be a light to others walking through darkness.

If, however, the weight still feels unbearable and the battle rages on, we want you to know we are not stepping away. Please post this request again, and we will continue to lift you up, believing with you for breakthrough. You are not alone, and you are not forgotten. The same God who spoke light into darkness is able to speak life into your circumstances. We pray that He would reveal Himself to you in a tangible way—that you would feel His arms around you, His strength sustaining you, and His love reminding you that you are deeply valued.

May the Lord surround you with His angels, fill you with His peace, and lead you into the abundant life He promises. We will keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing with you until joy comes in the morning. In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
