Please pray for my Grandson who had a fall in the play park and has broken his wrist in two places.
He attended hospital and currently has it in plaster.
Please pray that his bones will heal and that his pain will be removed 🙏

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your grandson in prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits our bones together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask You now to touch this precious child’s wrist and bring complete healing to his broken bones. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust in Your power to restore him fully. May the pain subside, and may the healing process be swift and without complication, according to Your perfect will.

We also pray for peace and comfort for your grandson as he adjusts to this temporary limitation. Children can feel frustrated or afraid when their bodies don’t cooperate, so we ask You to surround him with Your love and reassurance. Give him patience and joy even in this trial, and let him feel Your presence in a special way. We pray for wisdom for the doctors and nurses caring for him, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision.

Lord, we thank You for the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, where You say, “For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds.” We claim this promise over your grandson today, believing that You are working even now to bring restoration. Strengthen his family as they support him, and fill their hearts with hope as they wait on You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re so sorry to hear about your grandson’s fall, what a frightening moment for both of you. It’s hard to watch a child you love in pain, and we’re grateful he’s home in plaster now. We’re praying with you that his bones heal well and that his discomfort eases quickly.

In the days ahead, your steady presence will mean more than you may realize. Simple togetherness, reading a favorite book, watching a movie, or letting him show you every new drawing on his cast, can be a quiet comfort while his body does its work. There’s no need for grand gestures; just being there reminds him he’s not alone.

We’re asking Jesus to quiet the pain and bring a full, smooth recovery. We trust that God is near, tenderly watching over your grandson, and that He holds both of you close.

Jesus, we pray for this boy’s body, ease the ache, calm any fear, and knit those bones together in your strength. Give him restful sleep and a peaceful spirit. Surround his family with patience and hope, and when weariness sets in, renew their hearts. We thank you that nothing escapes your notice, and we entrust this healing to your loving hands. Amen.

A broken bone is a painful thing, as constant as it is excruciating, and a young lad with a wrist shattered in two places must endure a trial that keeps him from rest and play. The plaster may hold it steady, but the aching reminder of our frailty lingers. Yet, take heart, for there is One who knows what it is to have His own body broken, not for any fault of His own, but that we might be made whole. The Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician, and His power to heal reaches down to that little arm as surely as it reaches to the wounded spirit. I have seen that His very words are like leaves from the tree of life, every one bearing healing for the nations, and not a single promise from His mouth falls to the ground without virtue. Pray then, but pray in faith, expecting that He who hears the cry of a sparrow will bend His ear to a grandmother's plea for her suffering grandson.

Cry out to Him who binds up the broken in heart and makes the bones that He has broken to rejoice. The pain that now grips that dear child is not beyond the reach of His compassion; He once touched the sick with a word and they were restored. I urge you to lay hold of this truth: the same hands that were pierced for our transgressions are mighty to mend what is fractured. Present the boy to the Lord in prayer, not with a wavering hope, but as a child asking bread of a Father who delights to give good gifts. And while you pray for the mending of bone and the easing of pain, plead also that this fall might become a moment of drawing near to Christ. For often when the body is laid low, the soul is lifted up to know Him who is the resurrection and the life. He is able to heal, and He is often pleased to do so when His people unite in believing supplication. Trust Him, and watch for the day when that plaster is removed and the wrist is strong again, a living testimony that Jesus still walks the earth, healing and pardoning, showing Himself as tender to the weak as He is mighty to save.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The pain your grandson endures is not beyond the sight of God, nor is the shock of his fall a sign that the promises of the gospel have failed. Our Lord warned us plainly that in this life there will be troubles and confusion, yet nothing can shake the hope we have in Him. This broken wrist, though it brings tears and discomfort, is but a light affliction when weighed against the eternal weight of glory. I would not speak lightly of his suffering, for a child’s pain pierces the heart, but I cannot let this moment pass without urging you to see a greater work at hand. While you pray for the mending of bone and the easing of pain, and you should, I beg you also to pray that this accident becomes a healing balm for his soul.

Do not think I am harsh. I know these words sting, but I speak them not to wound you, but to ward off a far greater wound. The things we find most bitter to hear are often the very remedies that preserve us from destruction. If I held my tongue and spoke only of physical comfort, I would be a poor physician indeed. The body heals, as it will by God’s grace, but the soul that passes through affliction without drawing near to Christ has received no lasting good. Let this fall be a door opened for a different kind of work: a quiet, inward softening of the heart. The Lord who granted skill to the physician and strength to the body is the same who uses such trials to brace up our souls, casting out the desires that so mischievously beset us even in youth.

Consider: if we are so troubled over a broken wrist which will mend in weeks, how much more should we be troubled over habits of sin that can destroy eternally? Our Lord Himself asked whether it was lawful to do good on the Sabbath, healing a man entirely, and the answer was clear. The body’s need is real, but the soul’s need is weightier still. I do not doubt that your grandson will find relief; the plaster will do its work, and the pain will pass. But while he sits still, perhaps for the first time in many restless days, use this quiet to speak to him of the One whose hands were pierced for our transgressions. Teach him to offer up this inconvenience as a small participation in the sufferings of Christ, and to learn patience early. That, dear soul, is the prayer I most desire to see fulfilled.

The ache in your heart is understood completely. When a child we love is suffering, our minds often race with things we might have done differently, but let those thoughts be still. This is not a burden for you to carry. Pain and accidents are part of living in these bodies that, as the Scriptures teach, are groaning alongside all creation, waiting for their full and final redemption. They are fragile, yet they are not beyond the tender reach of our Creator.

It is right to ask for the bone to knit and the pain to be removed, and we do so with a specific confidence. There is a profound truth that must anchor this prayer: the healing we seek was already purchased. When Jesus took the bread and said it was His body broken for us, the breaking was not about the bones, for Scripture promised not one of His bones would be broken. His body was broken through the trauma of the scourging, the thorns, the piercing, and the lashing that was laid upon Him. We learn from this that by His wounds, a provision for healing was made. This is not a distant theological concept; it is what we are to discern when we remember His sacrifice. We are praying for this young boy to receive the full benefit of what Christ’s suffering accomplished.

The Spirit, in His sovereignty, dispenses gifts, including gifts of healings and workings of miracles, as He wills. So we ask with boldness, knowing He is the one who can set fractured bones in a supernatural order and silence the nerve that sends the pain signal. We covet this good work of the Spirit for your grandson. At the same time, there is a way that transcends even the most spectacular gifts. It is the way of love, a love that stands in the gap, connects a pure current of faith to the throne of grace, and trusts without wavering. A broken connection, like a wire grounded uselessly in the soil, gets no result. We are praying that your connection, born of a grandmother’s love, carries the signal of healing directly to the boy, through the power of Jesus.

We entrust him into those nail-scarred hands, believing for a swift mending and the cessation of his hurt, in the name of the One who suffered so that we might be made whole.
