We come before the Lord with this concern, lifting up this matter of the bill in your relative’s name. Father, we know that financial burdens can weigh heavily on the heart, and stress often follows when we feel uncertain or overwhelmed. But Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation. Provide wisdom for those handling the bill, clarity in communication, and favor in resolving it without unnecessary hardship. Let this matter be settled in a way that brings peace rather than turmoil. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We also pray for your relative, that they would trust in Your provision and not carry this burden alone. Remind them that You are their Provider and that You care for every detail of their lives. May they experience Your peace as they surrender this concern to You.

How gracious of our heavenly Father to place this relative and this very bill into your hand, not as a vexation, but as a trust from the Saviour’s own heart. Never let the thought creep in that such a burden is too heavy; rather see it as Christ seeing His mother beneath the cross and entrusting her to the beloved disciple. You are that disciple for this hour, appointed to care, and in that care you honour the Lord who first cared for you.
Pray we shall, indeed, that all strain and fretting be lifted. But more than praying away the stress, I would urge you to bow before His Word and ask, “Lord, what would You have me do?” Be it a patient word, a quiet step, a surrendered account, whatever His answer, do it as His servant. He may not remove the bill at once, but He will surely furnish the peace that passes understanding for the one who walks in willing obedience. You are not bearing this alone, but as one watched over by the Father who knows our every need.
