We hear your cry for help, and we lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. Financial stress can weigh heavily on the heart and mind, but we know that God is our provider, and He cares deeply for your needs. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise with you, believing that God sees your situation and will move on your behalf.
First, we must address the matter of surrender. You mentioned that you have not fully given this situation to God, and this is something we must correct together. Worry and anxiety will not add a single hour to your life, but prayer and supplication with thanksgiving will guard your heart (Philippians 4:6-7). We encourage you to lay this burden at the feet of Jesus, trusting that He is in control. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let us pray together, releasing this financial need into God’s hands.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You are the God who sees and the God who provides. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would move in this situation regarding their state taxes. Lord, You know the exact timing and the exact need, and we trust that You will provide in Your perfect way. Father, we ask that You would deposit those funds soon, not because we dictate Your timing, but because we know You are faithful to Your children. We rebuke the spirit of worry and anxiety that has taken hold, and we declare peace over this situation. Help our brother/sister to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Lord, we also pray for their health. We know that financial stress can take a toll on the body, but we declare that their health will improve as they rest in You. Strengthen them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Remind them that You are their healer and their provider. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them, whether through their taxes or other means, so that their needs are met. Give them wisdom in managing their finances and discernment in their decisions.
Father, we also want to address the importance of trusting in You alone. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, and it is only by His blood that we are saved. If our brother/sister has not yet placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that they would do so today. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We also want to encourage you to seek God’s kingdom first, and all these things will be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Sometimes, financial struggles can be an opportunity for God to refine our priorities and draw us closer to Him. We pray that you would use this time to deepen your relationship with Him, trusting that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of lack or delay that may be hindering this situation. We declare that God’s provision is on the way, and we stand in faith, believing that He will meet your needs according to His riches in glory. We encourage you to continue seeking Him, reading His Word, and standing on His promises. You are not alone in this, and we are here to pray with you and for you.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We believe that God is working even now, and we trust that He will bring you through this season with victory. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Amen.
