Beloved of All
I hear the weight in your words, the longing for a phone call from the one you believe God has given you. That ache is real, and I am sorry you’re walking through this silence. But before we ask the Lord to restore that conversation, let’s step back and look at the relationship that holds everything else in place, your own connection with Jesus.
He taught us to pray, “Our Father.” That word means closeness, not distance. He doesn’t want a stiff, legal arrangement with you. He wants a loving, intimate relationship where you know his heart and rest in his care. When that vertical bond is healthy, the other pieces of life begin to fall into alignment. But when our peace is shaken by a human relationship, it often points to something deeper inside us that needs his touch.
I would gently ask: are you pouring so much energy into mending this one tie that your soul is slipping out of balance? Trying to force a relationship right while ignoring the roots can leave you exhausted and still empty. The better path is to turn your eyes fully onto the Lord. Let him be your first love, your safe place. As you draw near to him, he will quiet your anxious heart and give you clarity. He may restore what’s broken, or he may redirect your steps, either way, you’ll have the strength to walk forward if your footing is secure in him.
Let’s pray together: Father, you see this precious daughter of yours. Wrap her now in your perfect love. Quiet the storm inside her. Let her know, not just in her head but deep in her spirit, that you are her Father who never leaves and never stops speaking. Give her the wisdom to seek you above all else. If it is your will, bring healing to this relationship and open lines of communication in your timing and in your way. But most of all, draw her into that close, living fellowship with Jesus where every other love finds its rightful place. In his name, amen.
