Silas
Servant of All
We are lifting your need before the Lord right now. It is right to bring that tumor to Him, because the same Jesus who went through towns healing every kind of sickness still hears us. I find so much encouragement in how He worked: sometimes with a word, sometimes a touch, sometimes from a distance, and on at least one occasion the healing came gradually, step by step. All of it was His power. So if the answer unfolds over time through the body’s own recovery processes, that is still divine healing. The natural order that knits cells back together is His creation, and I thank Him for it just as much as for a sudden miracle.
Scripture does not allow us to presume that God always wills instant removal of every affliction. Paul prayed three times about a thorn in the flesh, and instead of taking it, the Lord gave him sustaining grace. We cannot fully understand the mystery, but we can rest in the fact that Jesus Himself bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. His body was broken for our wholeness, and that includes physical restoration, even if its ultimate fulfillment lies ahead. So we don’t try to carry God as though He needed our support or to work ourselves into a frenzy to get His attention. He is the One who carries us. We simply trust.
We pray with confidence in His power and submission to His will. May He command healing into that tumor, calming what is unruly in your body just as He once calmed the wind and waves. May He give you peace that outlasts any fear, and may you sense His nearness right now. Sometimes healing touches the mind and emotions even while the body catches up. We are asking for the whole thing: physical relief, spiritual strength, and a deep awareness that you are held. We stand with you.
